Australian screenshots

Hello All,

Great Work everyone!

Well, since I am finally home in Queensland; I might as well get back into the swing of things. I finally got around to purchasing a copy of TANE; and let us see what all the fuss is about and hope it works.

With Sincerest Regards,

Michael Gitsham

Anyway, with my opinion said, BB18 1/4 1079 and the infamous class leader, 1620 pass an EMU as they head an excursion train through Walloon.

I have launched a new route, titled: "Somerset District 1". As I mention in the post, after 13 years of practice, time to upload something. It was recommended I post the shots I took over here in the this thread, as the prototypical route is Australian inspired, mainly modern rural SE Qld. The route is a fictional tourist line.

That there is the link to the announcement. Here a bunch of further shots I took.

Anyways, back to Screenshots; Making items is what I do best.

A full profile shot of my finally completed....

Mount Morgan Railway Station. Time period, 1949 to 1963

Comes with period posters of the time, and interior detail.

A historical profile (if one may) of Mount Morgan Railway Station, taken back in 1970. After a small repaint back in 1964, the station is looking worse for ware.

Great work everyone!

Thanks again to all who helped with the beta testing of the GL's as well as to everyone for their kind comments!

Please note, to those of you who have the beta of the GL, please make sure you delete the beta version and download the finished version from the DLS, as this contains a few fixes.

Just a little sneak peak of the other GL liveries I'm currently working on.

This is still a WIP so still a long way to go but getting there!:)

I will also do the 'de-hired' Freightliner livery (Freightliner colours with CF decals).

Thanks again guys!

Cheers,

Matt

The Pennsylvania Railroad was known as the standard railway many other operators looked to them for guidance and inspiration including New South Wales Government Railway who even stole there paint scheme.

NSWGR_46class ... I like the detail in your screenshots. You've gone to a bit of trouble there, mate!

The Redcliffe Line: Just added some more hours to my new route and a couple of screenshots in the Petrie area. Still a WIP. Enjoy!

Wow Rob!

Absolutely amazing :) I must say if your interested I will send you the CDP for the high quality Queensland Catenary? And WilliamG's EMUS if you haven't already got them! Makes me wanna slightly do a SMU260.. But don't hold me to my word as I strongly dislike suburbans haha

Cheers,

Hey all,

A while ago I mentioned my 2600 class.. Well its starting to come together!

To put it in progress terms I'd say shes 70% done! Next I need to start adding smaller details and make the handrails bigger. They are circular but I made them very small. Texturing has been a big learning curb and sadly the loco still has a few different maps. Thoughts and feedback would be appreciated :D The model is baked but I am not doing it conventionally so a few things will be ironed out.

Cheers,

BTW If you want to Alpha test it PM me!

Although they have a depot full of more modern power at their disposal the shunt crew has chosen to take the depot mascot an old 26 class out for a run.

Cheers,

Thanks SMAN12345, I would appreciate the CDP's for the HQ Qld catenary and the EMU's. I've only been playing around with various catenary at present and hadn't found anything that was quite suitable. I've been mainly focussing on the overall layout at present. If you ever do an SMU260, please advertise it - I could find a good home for it.

Cheers,

The Redcliffe Line

Lately, I've been focussing more on the scenery than the track-work, so here are a few more screenshots of my new Redcliffe Line. The population have yet to arrive.

Here's a new Australia Post facility (courtesy Dave Snow) which I've included at Kallangur.

Enjoy!
