Since the updated 38's are not on the DLS you must be using the old headboard system - well that is your problem there - If you were using the newer built in headboard system on the 36's and the 38's you would have not had this problem in the first place. So you have not tried out any of the other functions either I guess ?

That trackwork looks well off and I think the tracks and structures would be closer together. That X crossover particularly. I will happily be proven wrong however

Out of interest, have you ever been to Sydney by any chance Jamie? If not, I recommend you do sometime to have a look at the yard around Central station, it's quite a sight. (Not overly orthodox either, all over the shop) The track work is a great representation of the real thing and with a little tweaking here and there (like the crossover) I'm sure it will come out excellent. Personally, I've attempted the Redfern flyovers once before and gave up in frustration so hats off to Steve for his work. :)

Thinking of uploading a Sp1 version of my Oxford to queens Ts12 route, and I am thinking about changing the track. What is everyone's opinion?

My version of Redfern.
I can only comment that the flyovers between Redfern and Central are not an easy set of structures to re-create in Surveyor - nor is the tunnel
section between Central and Town Hall.

A very low scenery version of Sydney Metro is under way here, including the City Circle, Main South line to Campbelltown and beyond, Bankstown line, west to Parramatta , freight routes to Chullora and Botany and the MLR.

Dont know if I'll ever upload it or finish it. The track infrastructure is all done so far. Ive even tested it with a merge to the Picton to Albury routes - well over 300Mb and it runs fine.

stay tuned.

I really like the wooden sleepered sections but the cement sleepered track does not look good to me, at least in close up anyway.

I will extend that crossover to give a more of a straight line, as for the sandstone wall and track in between, yes they could have been closer together but that would cause all catenary support posts to be inbeded into the sandstone walls, and that would not look to good.
All of the route had been completed but things were not right so i deleted all of Sydney and i have been re-doing it since i got back from Thailand, when the route is ready to be downloaded people can make whatever changes they wish, but take those sandstone walls for instance, move one wall and then you are forced have to make 100 or so other changes.

Definitely A or B for me Axe. But i do not have SP1 and never will have so i did not give my opinion before mate but you have done an amazing job on your Route over the year's and thought it at the very least worth letting you know i still appreciate the effort you have gone too for us Aussie's.
Cheers Mick.
