Hi All,
Doing a NSW Branch line, Bombala to Cooma being a Queenslander this will be something different
I have seen a fair bit of NSW lines in real life around Glen Innes,Tenterfield,Inverell,Moree,Boggabila so i got some idea
Any tips good or bad:confused: will go along way to make this line as real as possible

Also is there a NSW wooden bridge out there like this http://www.nswrail.net/locations/show.php?name=NSW:Maclaughlin&line=NSW:bombala:0

Cheers,

Patchy,

Great work on the new line at Bombala, really good detail and looks like it will be one of the best Australian routes about. Just curious, I am not certain, but are there not better loco sheds to use than the one you have used here. I am thinking of the NSWGR loco shed or one of the VR sheds.... they seem more "Australian" to me. Otherwise it is faultless and I can't wait to see more of this (I had thought of recreating this line myself, I think it is an interesting line with it's climbs and gradients.)

Hi all,

I have been off work almost all this week and confined to the couch:confused:

It has allowed me to do some work on my Geraldton Line:

CBH001-CBH002 arriving into the Geraldton Port with the Lighthouse in the Background:

P2510/DFZ on an empty ore leaving the Geraldton Port. In Real life this location we nickname lighthouse straight!

Cheers
David

Looks good - nice work
Never through I would say this but I am looking forward to going back to work next week even if at this stage its only 3 days a week after being under house arrest for 4 weeks

Looking very good David, I think i've seen sum real life pic's from those two locations too mate so well done on making it believable.
Cheers Mick.:)

Wow, I'm really loving the sudden influx of WA themed pics/routes - I especially love that P class in ARG-QR livery David. Also, is that pic taken on the old route to the port that was part of the original Northampton line, or is it the 'new' direct link from Narngulu? I'm just curious is all. Excellent work on the L classes too Tom. Especially 'prettyboy' L268. Fantastic work. :D

I'm ashamed to admit I haven't spent much time in Trainz lately on account of my other game obsession taking priority recently (Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Rebon ;)) and enrolling in a course in game design. But I'll have to dig some pics I took earlier in the year out and post them.

what happened to all the posts between 6 sept and enkidoh's post today? I had clear recollections of zec doing a stack of his, all gone

Hi Enkidoh,

Thanks for the compliments on my Geraldton Railway Line. This is taken on the new line to Narngulu. I have been now working on textures which will take alot of time! The track goes all the way to Mullewa. At the moment I have it a SG but did have it as NG. I haven't been able to find concrete sleepers which are NG. What would be realistic is DG sleepers with just the NG laid.

Cheers
David
