Australian screenshots

Just re downloaded the Driving Trailer and it still shows as unknown. I'm not very computer savvy but I checked the config file and it still calls for 2:1942:12000:2. I'm not sure if the DLS has just reloaded the same file as before or what but it is still doing the same thing. A shame, I really would like to play with it as I love working the real thing. :)

With whistle blowing and cylinder drains hissing, DD586 storms up the grade.

With a small hiss from the snifter valves, DD 586 makes a brief stop at Sometown.

Rastis: Your route is very realistic. I look forward to your postings. Congratulations. Could you please tell me which road you are using in the level crossing shots. I've been looking for a highway that looks "Australian". Thanks. Cheers NickE

Good to see it now works for you - will do the few updates to the "cargo" when I get the change to. Have you discovered how to change the set numbers yet, make sure you set the marker lights to daytime running as well as it looks better with them on.

Also remember that on the non driving power cars the panto faces towards the nearest driving car as if it was a 4 car set just missing a driving cab (which in theory it is) . Setting up this 8 car set is a little diffrent to other NSW City Rail train sets.

Yep, thanks very much Dave. I have figured out the set numbers but I realise that some of the numbers are M--. I've just been using 1,02 and 3.

I have just set the marker lights and it does look very good. I also like the spark off the panto as well. :)

When changing ends at work, I tend to get a bit 'lost' as there is no break in the set! ;)

Thanks again mate, that is nearly all the Sydney sparks done now, just the OSCar's I think are missing now. We are very lucky indeed here in NSW!

No worries I was trying to offer some flexablity that's why there is some M plates - have you any idea why set 2 gets a Zero and the others do not ?

Not sure but it would have to be because A02 was the only one to receive the zero. It's a bit strange as no other set type currently in service carries a zero in front of the lower numbers.

Hi There.I have downloaded every thing but can not get the none powered trailer to appear in trainz 2009 all the other works ok.And there is no drivers cab.Herlev

As it was built for TS10 and released on to the DLS as an TS10 unit did not see any reason for testing in TS2009
No there is know cab = as most people prefer to do their own cabs left that up to the end user to supply.

Video of A02 being delivered.

Not sure why it only it has a zero, but it was the first to be delivered - that may (not does) have something to do with it.

Hello everyone,

Greats shots coming out, keep it up :)

@NSW_46Class, Dave; I have sent you an email.

@Zec, is there a slight chance, your DD can be made into a D3?; just curious as I would love to see Steamrail D3 639 as it currently in preserved operation.

With Regards

Michael, Zec plans to build many variation of the D series locomotive, starting the the different types of DDs, then D2s and D3s, just be patient.

I do have plans to do the D3's in future. My current aim is to complete the Type 2, 3, and 4 DD's (and appropriate D1's) first. I will then look into either the D2's or the D3's (not decided what order they'll be done in yet).

Regards
