Now this, this I like - wagons that look rusted and beat up and dented, like they've 'been around and well used' for a long time, rather than just having rolled off the construction line :)

Hi guys update on fixing the Silver City Comet Cars - they have some kind of protection voodoo built into the content - that prevents people doing any mods to them which is also preventing the fixing of the errors in the doors - It seems these units are now a lost cause unless NV3 or Natvander unlocks them =

That's a dam shame
I was going to have another crack at them this arvo
Proberly wood have drove me to drink [hic] what the heck i'll one any way;)

I have been trying for over week - you might crack it but think we need some assistance from NV3 on this one

I have been speaking to wise old Eric, one of the Guys on the original Auran Trainz team and after confirming there is some hidden protection on the comet set the only fix he has come up with is to get a smart content creator to do some replacement doors.

They still work okay,Might get a bit dusty inside with the doors wide open
I should really start using spell checker:confused:

cant see how that can be done without the original mesh. you would need it to accurately measure the replacement doors, if they are a separate mesh. At any rate, I think it would be more polite and proper to include DavidO in any discussion or activity that has to do with changing the model in any way.

Yes totally agree that Natvander should be included in any changes made to his meshs - in fact this is the very reason that he insisted that measures be taken so it could not be modified in the first place.

Love the tankers, they look A1+, only real thing that strikes me is the yellow and red on the sides, seems to stand out, but I admit, having it look faded and all that would probably be asking for the impossible, but the rest of the texturing looks perfect, well used :)

I thought updating the browser would cure it, but unfortunately still having some difficulties. Thankfully the download manager kicked in to gear and saving the zip was a success.

Much appreciated VB! ;)

Cheers

That 'not so good tree' looks like a Weeping Willow to me, and perfectly healthy :) *edit* and patchy? Shame, son, same - its Aurizon now, as 'Nobody knows what QR National did!' :P
