This model probably will not be released anytime soon as I am having trouble finding help making an engine sound for it, and I still have to animate the doors..
I wonder if you could use the sound from the existing monorail set.

The sound from the existing set is the default "electric" sound that is built-in to Trainz, which is what I am using for the timebeing.I wonder if you could use the sound from the existing monorail set.

The 1720 class locos are the locos used at the Kuranda Scenic Railway and they are not steam engines. Try google before posting next time eg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuranda_Scenic_Railway and http://www.qrig.org/motive-power/locomotives/diesel/qrnational/clydegm-1720-class

If you watch videos or go to the monorail itself you can hear very distinct sounds coming from it such as the "clang" sound it makes when it moves over a busbar connector. I have been on it twice this year, and both times recording video with the intention of making an engine sound from them. I plan to go on the monorail as much as I can before it closes next year.
Sydney mate, there isn't a monorail in Brisbane any more, it was taken down after expo 88
Job for tomorrow as I have to check cupboards and drawers. Remind me via PM if I forget.

Hey Petan, While you are line what wagons did QR use for the sugar to the CRS Mill at New Farm in the 50's 60's Cheers, Patchy
Cool screenshots and all but those items aren't really worth "asking" about.A few QLD country scenes, please don't ask what any of the items are nearly as annoying as young blokes silly posts. Seems nobody can do a DLS search?
Hi Patchy, the October 2005 ARHS Newstead article P. 410, notes the bulk raw sugar was transported from the Nambour sugar mill to the Newstead sugar refinery in WHO bulk open bogie wagons. Article notes enclosed vehicles for the last season in 1988.
Why did they rip the Brisbane one up.
-Cheers
Why did they rip the Brisbane one up. It would have been easy to get from one side of Brisbane to the other if they kept it.-Cheers
