I have a problem with the NSWGR Water Gin Black.

One of the bogie's appears to be up to high and the wheels don't touch the rails.

Does anyone else have this problem and/or know a fix?

Thanks Cameron

I've got it too.

Yet 3801's tender(TS2004 version) seems to be fine.

It seems we have to fix our "toys" before playing with them.

You so amuse me, have me rolling round on the floor laughing. Got no idea why you are compairing an TRS2004 tender with a water gin.

But yes there is a slight bogie height problem with the black gin as well

CM V3.6 says that the water gin uses the same bogey as the tender.
So funs over:p
Well yes - and thats even more ammusing your slaying me buddy

The config sets the type of bogies and the attachment point in the mesh sets the hight and location of the bogie. I bet if you used CM V3.6 it woulds tell you all the 48 class locos all use the same bogies to

 Thanks Mark, what you wrote is more humorous than offensive, we'll just have to blame that on the vast improvements with your country style chili flavored home brew.

Looking forward to catching up with ya again soon.

Regards,

A bloke of very few words who doesn't always realize who and where he is... Thingumabob! :hehe:

G'day Everyone

@Ron, do you wish to send me your route, as I can fix up the issues that your having.

@Falcon500, thats it; the gatekeepers & stationmasters cottage, QR used the Pyramid House but there was serveral design differences which included with an watertank between the side windows to the height of the top base of the window shown in the screenshot, a white metal lattice veranda - usually made of cast iron and minus window shades between the windows in the screenshot as its standard design used by the railways from 1901 to 1917. As they were two versions one high set and low set on 2.5m posts. As shown here on the right hand side of the photogragh - Burri on The Murburg Branch - Leon Mathews Photogragh.

From about 1919 until 1922, due to shortness of materials, the design was amended to discard the lattiace frontage, enclose the veranda and change the roof to a more softer sloping roof. This became the standard residence design for all new lines built after 1923. As the same, it was a highset version and a lowset variation with attached watertank. As shown in the photogragh at Princhester, (C) www.stationspast.net
al01.jpg

Both were painted a light green as in the screenshot until 1972 when they were repainted cream with red roof when Q.G.R became Qld Railways.

@Dreddman, its good to cya, and maybe look forward to seeing you pop in the SEQTUG meeting down at Graceville.

@Dave, could you send me some photograghs of a few double track NSWGR Wooden Gates, as I might give them a go. Yes, I will be doing a double track version, I remember seeing some at Thirlemere at the NSW Rail Transport Musuem on the operational line.

Enough talking, some screenshots of QR EE 1270 with a ARHS return excursion train consisted mostly of Davidson Carriages, the sounds of the English Electric barks through the hills. As the steam locomotive has unfortunally failed and is currently getting attended, and hopefully will steam back to meet the train at Melawondi.
