Here's a module I've been working on for trainz89. (Michael). It's based in a 1960-80 outback NSW/SA/VIC town called Saltbush Creek. Cheers! Jake.

I like the way you are using the petrol pump and the Hillman [?] car to describe the era to the viewer. The ready mix truck cab reminds me of a Mack "B" model or similar bodywork from that era but I'll leave that to truck experts.

thank you michael
they will be greatly appreciated.
yet again the room waiting.
the last few weeks have been nothing but wait, wait, wait.
utterly bored
cheers

They are indeed beauties Marty, I couldn't have summed it up better myself. And the promise of the WAGR M and MA classes? Cheer! :D Excellent work as usual Bear. :)

Is that little green and yellow one the QR DH version?

What we need is, folks, is someone to model more QR locos. I'm actually secretly hoping that Davido might see this message. While there are many QR locos available, we would really like to see some high quality ones. Pikkabird's 1502s are the standard to aim for. I remember a long time ago seeing a screenie of a 1720, can't remember who the creator was but he was taking forever to complete it. In fact I don't think he ever did release it.

Davido, we will invite you into enemy territory to model 3ft6 gauge QR rollingstock. :) We might have to find a maroon jersey to fit you first though. :p

It was a dark and stormy night....

It was a dark and stormy night....

.....and I was just on my way to pick up some empty coal hoppers and there they came, suddenly,.....
.....very suddenly,....
.....in an instant....
.... out of the dark....

Oh, it was horrible.....

....a sight I never want to see again. Just hang on a second, I still have to catch my breath when I think of it.

There they were, standing very still, angry looking, fear invoking, menacing, threatening, looking for trouble.....
.....and blocking my way:

Not a sound to be heard except the pounding of my heart in my chest (and of course the menacing, fearful drone of their mighty, powerful engines revving):

Standing there.....
....very menacing....
....very threatening.....
....ready to pounce ....
....or shoot...
....straight out of the past.

When suddenly...

...at the next big thunderclap, they were gone. In a flash, like they were never there before.

Where they came from and where they went to, I do not know. I had to rub my eyes to make sure I was seeing what I wanted to see. I was just happy and glad to continue with my consist .

Happy sleeping

You probably think, what the hell was I smoking.

Actually, I was checking through my creative content and I realized that I made some of these Jagdpanthers with normal mapping and lots more details some 18 or so months ago (but I never released these) and thought I tell you a nice bedtime story with these :p.

Any interest in these Jagdpanthers? To load these on to the DLS?

Cheers

I might but which one - will look into it after I have done all the versions I have envisioned.

Plus there is a list of 80's still to finish

I was thinking the maroon and yellow version, I don't want to sound too picky, but I guess they all would, even for those you haven't done yet.

Imaginative Vinny, I think you've put the rest of us to sleep with your bedtime story. Almost!

Yawns.

Cheers,

Not that long ago Auran would not let people show or upload third reich content to the dls, I assume for fear of causing upset to people. I remember a few creators were told not to display screenshots

The current relaxed modding to what used to be big no no's is rather interesting - I got a warning once for a memorial ANZAC day posting as it was as seen as a political statement wishing all the best to out troops serving OS
