Err... anyway, back to some screenshots.

Haven't posted screenies for a while. Thought I'd post a few WIP shots from a route I started today, and have spent several hours tweaking trackwork on.

A medium-sized yard, with the main portion and loco depot being loosely based on Dubbo. The rest is put together to reflect how I want the yard to work.

The main yard portion; the sidings to the right are soon-to-be oil depots. Straight ahead is a cement depot.

wip2z.jpg

Looking from the Southern end of the yard. From the left are the goods sidings, Down Reception siding, Mainline and Loop line. The Loco Depot turnouts are arrayed off the Loop.

wip3w.jpg

Northern end of the yard, with Shunting neck, Up Reception, and main line platform.

wip4i.jpg

Opposite side of Loco, with Fuel and Storage sidings in view.

I will post more shots as progress is made.

Matt.

Hi you lovers of my Oz CLP Class locomotives, good news. Possibly tomorrow, Tuesday Oz time, the new skinned Oz National green/gold/silver will be on the DLS, they are already awaiting approval. These are the CLP 15 and CLP 8 and this is how they look somewhere across the Nullarbor Plains with my created for TRS04 Indian Pacific coaches in tow:

and in Surveyor:

and here is a sneak preview of a WorkInProgress shot of a QR National CLP Class (CLP13 with CLP 11 to follow) where I still need to fix some minor details, still to apply the logos and where l still have to do 3 LODs on these. What I need to know from you people who have seen the QRN colours in real life, are the colours true or do I need to alter some? I can only go by pictures of the QRNat ones, hence my plea. As you know what some pictures are like. If you think the top/roof is bright, don't forget the sun shining on top of the roof plus in TS09 where this screenshot comes from, is much (very much) brighter with specular than TS10 is, hence some might think this is too bright:

From then it is on to some old Oz National maroon/silver and green/gold ones and finally the CLF Class ones and a couple of CL Class ones still to do.

Cheers

VB, I think the maroon could stand to be slightly more red, although everything else looks pretty spot on. Sadly, I can't share any photos to help you, as I never manage to catch the ruddy things leading! Still only got one shot of CLP11 and none of '13...

Both the AN and QRN versions look great though.

Hi VinnyBarb,

The RGB I have for the maroon and gold that was used on the QR coaches is maroon R86,G21,B25.
and the gold/yellow is R184,G126,B0(zero). This photo was obtained from a "clean" carriage.

Hope this is of some help.

Cheers,

Bill.

Well Pete, I've said you can't surprise me, but I guess I should just take everything you seem to come up with as a surprise. Great work mate, can't wait for future updates.
