Australian screenshots

Quick update and a request....

Hi all, I do have a request please, beside just giving you a further quick update of my current CLP/CLF Class project:

cl1.jpg

cl3.jpg

cl4.jpg

Please ignore the below the body bits as they are only there to get the proportions right. Also the bogies are not the right ones, they are only there to get the CLP 16 into the game. Nor is the shadow and some of the coronas correct as the scripting is not done yet for it.

I still have to paint the cover battens for the side panels as well as the side screws on it to match the paint they are covering etc. On top, only the round skylights have been boolean inserted, no grills, cover panels and openings done there yet.

My request is, does anyone have any top screen shots or know of any of the CLP/CLF Class that show the 2 front fans, what they look like and their proportions/size in relation to the 3 rear fans. As well as any other bits and pieces needed on top of the CLP/CLF Class, like airconditioner etc. as I looked high and low for any top only screen shots for them but so far I have been unsuccessful in finding any clear and good ones on the internet.

It is no good posting this request in the Content Creators forum as not too many Oz viewers look into it, hence my posting of this request here. Which is after all screenshot forum, so please excuse my request for information here :p

Thanking you in advance for any help

Cheers

Hello fellow Aussies,

Seeing some down right awesome work in here lately. Well done all on raising the bar with every new screenshot posted.

I am hoping to get back to posting some screenies myself soon. I have been on hiatus with an illness and currently working myself to recovery. I have quite a bit done on my little route I was working on (Port Levendale complete route) so I shall hopefully get around in the next day or two with a heap of screenies

Davido, some amazing work as usual, I read somewhere earlier your not to well, I hope you recover soon mate and be back fighting fit :)

Mattm, Seeing some great screenies from you lately. TS2009 seems to be treating you very well.

Forest_Runner, No words can describe your talent in Trainz. I always look forward to seeing more of your work every time I log into the forums.

And everyone else as there is so many talented Aussies in here, its always a pleasure popping in and seeing such talent posted. Well done all, and look forward to seeing the bar raise again on the quality of work you are all doing.

Cheers

Trent

Today's random couple location is NSWGR Goulburn.

The beauty of holiday periods was that you never quite knew what you were going to get next. Here 4203 & 4538 arrive with a holiday extra Intercapital Daylight...

VinnyBarb, the CLP is indeed looking fantastic. I've just had a look through my photos on the internet and I don't have ANY roof photos of the CLP class (I have very few photos of the CLP class at all, it would seem).

That's a slightly higher angle, but the lighting on the roof isn't real good, so I don't suspect it will be much help

I have a couple of high point shots of CLF class, if that can be any help to you:

When I get a bit more time, I'll go through my archives of photos on my HDD (2010 is easy, it's organised!), and see if I don't have any photos on my HDD - I doubt it, but it's worth a look anyway.

 Hi VinnyBarb

Trent,

Thanks for the kind words. 09 is treating me very well, now i have all my 06 content transferred across.

Ditto to your comments for Forest_Runner; words don't do his shots justice. The shots of Goulburn have convinced me to DL the route; even though i know it won't look half as good as he makes it.:hehe:

@Jamie,

thanks for that info. I'll have to get over there and take a look.

Matt.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It does inspire and motivate me...

The end of the line??... but such was not always the case.

The line that once went into Central Australia, now serves as an extended headshunt.

Forest,

Love the shot of Goulburn Bring back memory of when I use to work jobs out of there. By the way is the 42 class floating in the shot.

Thank you guys for the information re roof/top screenshots of a CLP/CLF Class.

@Raichase, yes, one of your screenshots shows exactly what I require. This is really appreciated and thank you :).

@Electro, thank you for your offer of sending some pictures, I will look forward for these pictures you will send me, my email address is hrh1000(at)hotmail(dot)com. I only need roof/top screenshots as I have all else needed. As the CLP16 had been parked at Alice Springs with engine trouble for several days when I was living there some 3-4 years ago, I took many digital close up pictures, several hundred pics in fact. Unfortunately, I could not climb on its roof to take some pics there as the railway staff there would not let me do this on account of insurance problems in case I fell off.

Yeah, the CLP 16 is shaping up very well so far, I have some spare time now since I came out of hospital a month ago. I had a total knee replacement there, hence I have oodles of time on my hand at the moment construction wise.

Someone else was asking me if this CLP/CLF Class will come in a QR National Rail paint scheme, yes it will, as well as the old green/silver/sortof yellow-white AN, green and gold AN and also with AR logos for these CLF/CLPs numbered ones using these and any other paint scheme I can find (eventually that is :hehe:).

Cheers

Hi All,

Has anyone got Southline 4 working in 2010.

David
Hi David,

If you are talking about the original Southlines 4 and the Tumut routes then there is a problem. I am not sure what it is but I have reported it and Zec had the same problem. He forwarded the details onto those at Auran to look at.

If you are having problems, email/PM me with your email address and I can help out.

Craig

Hi taggy, Southlines 4 is actually "Southlines Four" kuid:4801:20044

There is a problem with Southlines Four and the 3 Tumut routes by pgibbons in 2010. I reported it and Zec had the same problem so it was then forwarded to Auran.

What I did was to install it in 2004, slightly move something to make it "different" then saved it. This gave it a new kuid number with my ID and saved it in World/custom/maps. I then used the "Import Content" function in 2010 to import it from the directory in 2004.

I would suggest merging the Tumut routes as well before importing it into 2010 and if you wish to go further, merge any of the other routes in 2004 before importing into 2010.

Anyone with any problems can contact me as I have all (about 20) routes merged and working in 2010.

Craig
