And i for one am glad you did choose to share. It's looking very good so far, Trent. Very inspiring; it may be what i need to get the creative juices flowing once more.
It seems all i can do at the moment is lay down a few tracks; then the mind goes blank and i can't seem to work out a satisfying way to do the landscaping and scenery to finish the route.
Matt.
Thanks for all the comments folks, keeps me pushing along on my route
Hello Matt,
The thing I do, when I get abit blank etc, is either make a new section, do some texturing, etc. One thing I try to do every nite though is at least one thing, be it a tree placed, a sign, car etc, that way I may have spent just one minute in my route, I did do something to keep me at it

With landscaping/scenery etc, I have learned alot and still have alot to learn, but with the talent in Aussie screenshots (Axe1970, Forest_Runner, Davido, Ghosty, just to name a few) along with the likes of Fredo, Mystral and Darkdan screenshots posts. I always gain alot of inspiration and ideas. But the one that have given me the most would be Axe1970's latest release (Georgetown to Tarren Rocks). That route is simply one of the best I have ever seen in my short time on Trainz forums, and every now and then I potter around it in Surveyor looking at how he done some texturing/track siding ideas, etc.
This branchline is becoming a monster in its own right. Even my PC is now starting to drop framerates to mid teens in towns. Which is scaring me atm, I feel its becoming more of a main line than branchline. Who knows where it will end up before I release it (when I feel its done hehe). But I thoroughly enjoy route creation, and I have been on hiatus due to illness so I was going through Trainz withdrawals anyways, so very happy to be back on my feet and into it once again.
Hope to have some more progress shots of the Industrial park tomorrow evening if all goes well.
Cheers
Trent
