Hi Everyone,

In the past I have started a thread about this however I thought just a small comment here is good enough.

I have been here for 8 years :hehe:

Actually I have noticed that around this time of year many people became addicted to Trainz and our wonderful World of Trainz (Shipz/Planez/Tramz/etc :hehe:).

Many thanks to all for the time we have spent together, your support and help, the creations many have made for us to enjoy and most of all, the Friendship.

As promised, i have looked at the items on my map you mentioned, the ones listed below can be disregarded as they are part of they are used in DEM, as the map was part of a DEM generated map.

Unknown Location: <kuid2:126773:21011:2>

the other item is as you listed by roberto conti and i have no idea why it acts like it does.

...and when was this forum last rebuilt 'cause you appear by the joined date thing to only have been here 2 years:hehe:

But if you look at his time line you notice he had the original Trainz (CE) registered which arrived in 2001 But was available for testing up to 6 months earlier than that, I think.

I purchased my first copy in 2002 whilst on holiday in Queensland, but never actually registered it till I stopped touring in my Caravan.
No idea ,now when I first registered but would have been around Christmas 2002, I guess
Cheers

Howdy all,

Looks like Ghostyder's route won the Aussie route competition. So, he's $50 dollars richer! Whoop!

Unfortunately because of the 2010 DLS problems, he's had to upload it via Yousendit, which is where you'll find the link.

http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=60761

I was really impressed that there were three good routes out there, but rather unhappy about the voting turnout. Which was... Uh, three in total. So that may need some thinking about.

Admittedly, I could have arranged things better, and in future I shall. But many thanks and congrats to all who entered, and we now have some more fine routes on the DLS (aside from the Ghosty, the winner who, due to the 2010 SP3 DLS problems is temporarily hosting it on Yousendit like I mentioned) for all to enjoy!

I'll start a new competition slightly before the next Aussie school holidays, with a bigger prize.

Many thanks to all who entered, and from what I've gathered (my current PC isn't very worthwhile for running Trainz) all entries were quite tasty.

OMG PONIES!

Didn't the old forum crash in 2006 or something?

It did, but i think Rbar was being sarcastic.

Ghosty, congrats on your win in the route building comp. Any chance you could split the winnings?;):o

Haha, no, I'm not from NSW, though I do have reletives down Sydney way.

I gather then that you are the one they don't mention without crossing themselves first?:hehe::hehe:

Grats!

I'm only just over 7 years old now on Planet Auran. Too bad I wasn't able to register when I first got Trainz back in the day (no interwebs). :o

Good ol'e Trainz 1.3 in '02 (not quite as old as some)

Point taken. I do that a lot; not knowing when to stop.:o

My apologies.

Here have a few screenshots.
