Hi guys,

Nice shots from everyone, Forest_Runner especially.

Matt.

Bah... all credit to axe and Davido. Us Aussies really are a lucky bunch.

I'm just running the Session and hitting "Prt Sc" every now and then.

Now, I've really got to get back to developing Flinders Plains!! :o

Oh no, I think he took me seriously! Looks better in Trainz than in real life :).

I beg your pardon, but we are referring to the work of Lord Davido, here. Of course it bloody well does.:Y::Y:

All hail Davido, undisputed king of (NSW) content creation.

Seriously though, i assume you are referring to the 48 which has recently been repainted in to PacNat colours? Cause i was about to ask if that was available, until i remembered a discussion about this topic several days ago.

If you say so mate. I'm sure Davido and Axe will not shy away from more praise for their awesome creations.:D

Matt.

They look amazing David...I actually prefer the PN scheme over the FC one for some reason...

And Daniel, the route look's fantastic mate, I could name all of the places where those shots were taken it looks that real :)

Tom :)

Thanks

Well thanks but they still look odd in that livery....the short hood looks massive in yellow.

Oh, they look absolutely hideous.

Don't get me wrong... wonderful in-sim model of factual train, but gee in real life they've really vandalised the good old 48's.

Tuscan/Indian Red/Reverse anyday, please.

Wonder who the brainiac was dreaming up white numbers on PacNat loco ends.

Mattm,

your Voluminous, Veiled Voracious Ventures in trying subliminal suggestion may be paying off.

why didnt I think of it before? You've convinced me to make it for you,,,,,,,

The Trainz Rail Welding Facility at Clapham opened last weekend, on the site of the old Yeerongpilly SG loco depot. Here's some shots of a SG train using the new sidings.

Leaving Acacia Ridge with a nice short consist

The loco has run around the train and sits patiently while I go off and drive another train.

As night falls, there is still nobody around to load the rails or to take the train back to the Ridge. Oh well.

Hi Ryan McC.

I have noticed something about your dual-guage shots. It's Davido/Natvander's NSW track in 4' 8.5" guage, TS2009/10 standard, but your third rail is broad guage, 5' 6". Surely that third rail should be inside the 4' 8.5" to make our QR narrow 3' 6".:)

Just thought I should mention it, this is Queensland you're modelling after all, not Victoria.:p You may want to fix it, you may not, but if you have any intentions of releasing any of this, it may be a good idea to change it.

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

Pete that's quite presumptuous of you to proffer your preference for parsnips patches for pervadors of pealable pegetables (Provocative providential poetic license allowed).

I would have thought that you, having pondered your present geographic position :o
would have preferred a plot of Impatients, Petunias & Paddy Mellons, plus
Pink Polentas on the sun porch?
:D:wave::hehe::)

Hi Scott,

Gauging from your remarks, one could expect to find you wandering around deserted yards in the dead of night, with a piece of string, for the procurement of measurable evidence as to the width (or not) of laid lines.
Happy hunting, & I commend your astute observances!. :)

Ryan around Tocumwal your broad gauge was I believe in use during the 1908-1950's. Always welcome there. :D

This loco had fallen foul of the trainz content creation bug where no matter what you try it wont export limfront and limback which causes the model not to show. This has happened to a lot of rollingstock of late and I have been trying to figure out a way to fix the bug. Then out of sheer exasperation I uninstalled the creator studio and reinstalled it

Voila

It was odd that Pacnat painted the nose and cab yellow. It would make sense either just painting the nose yellow or leave it blue and paint the cab yellow.

Still its good they are painting a few since there scrapping a whole heap at the moment.

Cheers

David

Yeah, I know. Quite deliberate as most of the time I'm driving SG versions of QR trains so the majority rules ;)
