Australian screenshots

Ok, it's been nearly 24 hours, and no-one seems to have noticed, or we're all being polite and hoping the error corrects itself without prompting. Have another look, and you will notice that 4497 has been incorrectly identified as 4897. There, I said it. It's out in the open now. It has been bugging me since i saw it yesterday afternoon.

Nice shots, though. Same goes for everyone else.

Matt.

Whoops! :hehe: . Oh well, these things happen :). It's been a funny couple of days!

Yes, sorry for being so dramatic about it Raichase. As i said, they're a nice couple of shots.

Anyway, hope to have more of my own up tonight.

Matt.

Its funny you say that, i get annoyed by things like that too.. even when people use davido's fantastic 422's and have stupid default numbers like 42283 etc when we all know that there were only 20 of these made.. same withe 48 and 81 bicentennial's . - 48165, 8120, 8172 should be the only numbers .... BUT its all just fun at the end of the day..

the 422 class was introduced in 1969/1970, In 1980, 42220 was rebuilt by Clyde Engineering, having its generator replaced with a EMD model AR16-D14, and equipped with EMD's dash-2 electrics and “Super Series” wheel slip technology. It was in effect, a test bed for many of the features incorporated in to the 81 class. IIRC the livery applied to 42220 was modified to suit the nature of the loco.

there are very many non accurate events happening within the sim ( coned boilered 53's & 55's with commonwealth tenders is a pet of mine - all the surviving standard good's classes had been reboilered well and truly by the time the commonwealth tenders were introduced), but at the end of the day it is only a sim (game) - and users and content creators can create and use what they want, how they want

Hmm, funny you say that. (Study David's pic.:hehe: )[/quote]

lol... missed it the first time - tho it was noted before :)

I've always wondered how people would go if someone started on whatif's... the proposed 58 class mallet.. the legendary TP ( was that a 4-8-0 version of a T class or P class?), and so many more...

and reality itself was pretty strange itself.. the day the chargeman at broadmeadow walked out to find 6042 parked next to.. 6042 ... yup did happen!!!

Back to South Oz narrow gauge... mineral trains require a step up in motive power.

Disclaimer: Apologies in advance if any non-historical/factual depiction induces psychosis...
