Australian screenshots

I wish people would stop beating around the bush and just say David's 38's look better than mine, because I think they do to.

cheers
pete

But i did! And they do.:hehe::hehe:

@Davido. I think he is cheating, its a real pic around WoyWoy isnt it :P Awesome stuff David :)

Agreed,Trent. He is cheating, i live in the area and i recognize most areas in the shots.

Jamie, that's some good work there. Keep going, the finished product promises to be spectacular.

Davido, a page back, when you were a duck, what were those reeds blocking the pax??
And a question
At a coal unloader, would there be weeds over the coal unloader??
Jamie

Grass Ciuffi erba secca <kuid2:146087:27103:127>

and

No there wouldn't usually be weeds around an unloader

Whatcho talkin' about ed?
The hills have no points?

I assure you it ain't no DEM .....just memories

Davido, we mean to cause no offence. Rather, the comments should be taken as compliments, for your route looks so damn good. And as i've said, and will continue to say, the shots capture the area very well.

Cheers Peter, seems whenever I post pics of the 38's it starts an issue....... wish I'd never build them.:(

I'm sure there's a few people wishing you'd release them.:hehe::hehe::hehe: Seriously though, they do look brilliant.

Great Screenies Around on this thread at the moment:D

Davido: the Vsets Look really good from your screenies

looking forward to trying them when they are released

Jamie,
Those shots, for me, looked pretty good. The greenery around the tracks looks realistic, its wild and thick and open country. It looks to be a track forged through the countryside which in the days of steam it was. It was men using dynamite to blast cuttings through hillsides, working with pick and shovel. If you can't guess, I like it alot. Out of those shots, two of the close-ups have gone into a folder I use for my desktops.
Keep them coming folks
Regards
Glen

VR at Port Levendale

Nice screen shots, hope you liked it. I am close to completing the actually full branch line. I decided to make it a full branch, as it was so better than my other fictional I have going. Over all I got about 15 kilometers, 3 small stations and the port itself. I have got a basic Session to run along side it, with some freighters working away and passenger service running back and fourth every so often.

Thanks for posting the screen shots, quite enjoyed seeing them :)

Cheers

cascaderail
it comes down to the track used, and how you are laying out the turnouts. some creators make 1m or 2m repeat track for this process. the dls has several guide tools that help layout turnouts, check under the username natvander i think he made several tools for this purpose. i hope that helps.

Something is on its way to DLS - Transport Tycoon Deluxe style loop.
All it is is a basic loop with accurate signalling and track direction markers

F174 sits in the platform at Lilydale with two AB cars and two B cars. Not a regular on the line, the F is being used for race trains out to Yarra Glen, whilst the line's D3 class runs the regular passenger services.

Photos from various points along the line, no captions tonight...

Have fun! :)

Do you think those weeds near the track add realism??
Just gotta fix up some track and I'll be almost ready, anything else you guys can suggest??

Jamie
Hi everyone,

I must say there are some really great screenshots of recent, I have no idea of where to start in Congratulating all those posting. So I'll just say

"Congratulations to all on your screenshots, great work"

Jamie, I am rather impressed with your work, congratulations on some fine scenery detail. In the shot above I would try to fix the crossing though I know that is not easy. I can never get them to be exactly right but maybe a little more "playing" around can help out.

For your question about the weeds near the tracks, I would think that they should not be so close to the tracks. I would have thought that with the passing of trains they would "naturally" die near a track or they would be cleared a distance back by track gangs to stop any possible fires. Just a thought.

Great pics Zec, I really like how that F and those pass cars are going. A question, what RGB are you using for your AA, AB, and the A and B cars? I'm referring to the red. I'd like to see how they work on your W cars.

Jamie, those shots look very nice.

Okay, this is NSWGR Mongothan, now, where do I put signals??
Jamie
PS At the bottom the track to the right is a siding, the image was cut off

Been doing a bit here and a bit there in my Port Levendale branch line.

A few cosmetic changes in the port itself today. Also added in about 5 kilometers of route over last few days. So its coming along nicely. Thanks to patrick5173 (a good friend - for testing out my changes and additions) Think I am driving him nuts with all the test versions I send him.

Anyways, a pic of the Port with a few small changes. (Surveyor shot)

More to come as I actually remember to take some screen shots ingame.
