Thanks Mulie, the tunnel portal is a piece of scenery I'm working on.....it's designed to go over the ends of the 2 track euro tunnel......Very nice as always Davido, and others - makes me wish I was back in front of my main PC - getting so many ideas, but I fear this onboard ATI video card on the laptop, doesn't get along really well with TrainzBy the way Davido, I particularly liked the smoke/soot type texturing at the tunnel portal on the previous shots - looked so realistic - is that your own creation? Or one you've donwloaded?
Matt, which one??
Jamie

Davido, do you work in TRS2006? or a later version?
Just curious..
Hi Trainzerz
Mattm, cook, others, great screenshots. Lovin them. I have grown tired of waitin for VinnyBarb to release his SAR Bluebirds and any updates on his TransAdelaide Railcars. I have been waitin an almost full year. Does anyone know where Vinny has gone to?? I was really looking forward to using his Bluebirds and TransAdelaide Railcars when they were ready for download. I have since downloaded the other bluebirds. Will post screenies shortly. Any news on Vinny's content would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, SARRailways
I am still here, my time for the last 12 months has been taken up with recreating my AN Class Locomotives for TS09/10. Check my signature picture, this is what the new AN1 will look like. As content creating, especial engine building is much more complex now for the new versions of TS09/10, hence this takes very much longer to do. Plus the obstacles that are in the way of NOT getting enough informations of HOW to do this to make it worthwhile for TS09/10. Just check on the DLS how many NEW engines apart from reskins of old ones have been released for TS09/10 and you will see why not.
This new AN Class engine is for all intentions and purposes finished, except the reflection on the transparent windows have to be implemented and the LODs have to be created as this engine is near enough of 56 k of polygons. With 2 drivers which change directions when coupled in tandem or more, always to be in the leading engine, ditch- and marker lights changing in colour and directions when reversing and more. That is all working now.
I haven't done any working cab for it (yet) to do justice to the extra extensive finish, I might release the AN Class AN1 without it and use a generic cab or the inbuild Ocemy DL11 cab (the front windows are similar) until that new one is made. Then later I will release some new skins, including the blue/gold National Pacific as AN 5 and possibly a QR skinned one as well as there is one of these AN Class ones presently running around (I think). As well as the Ghan AN3 and the old green/gold Oz National ones.
This is where I have been for the last 12 months as well as posting regularly in the General and Content Construction forums. Re my other Oz engines quoted above by you, well, I am a stickler for some accuracy and good looks. If I don't like the look of something I created, I WILL NOT release them as it denigrates that particular model if released as is. Sorry, that is me and you just have to put up with it.
With the BlueBirds, I still have to go the Pt. Adelaide Railway museum one of these days to take some more pictures of these, particular any from the top of these to see how the top fans are there, whether they can be seen rotating or if this is just a mesh/grill type covering these. and some side on pictures from the engine sticking out below and the other sticking below the body bits. Unless someone from Adelaide can help me out with some of these pictures.
As you can see, it will be some time yet as I also want to create the CLP/CLS Class and also like to redo the Rob Shaw's Red Hens but more extensively. But this has to wait until the next century :hehe:.
Cheers
VinnyBarb

Regarding the livery on the AN Class, to date they have worn the Australian National scheme, the National Rail scheme, The Ghan scheme and the Pacific National scheme. No AN class have appeared in QR colours.
