Australian screenshots

If you want a hand, feel free to give me a yell :)

That is, if you are using GMax/3DSMax (little->no experience with blender here). However, you will need to hill a LOT of detail from the 3D :( Looking at that, it would be a few hundred thousand polys at least, probably into the millions when finished... I know a house I've got here hit the millions when I tested making '3D' bricks (that mesh was for texture baking!).

Well, I'm making it In Autocad 2010, But I've been told by one of our Yankee Cousins that It could be Imported into 3DSMax, with wich I have had no experience whatsoever...

So, I'll hit you up when I finish the Autocad Drawing...

Some great talant by you all, no need for a winners circle in this thread.

Would anyone like some curdled sour cream on that...

Nice shots, Patchy. Another QR route? Forest_Runner, it's a pity you've gone to '09, i would love to Download your Melton Valley route. The screenshots you showed, plus the reviews it's received, make it look like one i could learn a few things from.

One from me. Almost done, will upload to the DLS in a few days.

SAR Melton Valley Missing Content. I apologise. I'm a horrible record keeper for content I've gathered over the years across multiple versions of Trainz/TRS/TS.

I have 8 dependencies not listed on the DLS... hope this helps out some.
  • 44700:290150 is the drain pipe you see in screenshots in with the Goods Shed environs. It is non-critical and can be deleted. Otherwise it can be obtained from - http://darjeelingtrainz.com/ as part of the content for this glorious project. You need to be a registered member to get the content.
  • 749201:348, 78461:348, 867351:348, 947265:348 are S.T.A.L.K.E.R. vehicles from a Russian site. They are non-critical but do make the ramshackle industry opposite the wheat silos look the part. Here’s the link http://trs-1017rus.ucoz.ru/load/9-1-0-185 You can either translate to English, or click on the link beside the (8.15Mb).
  • Finally 84609:28387 are the schoolboy spotters, which again non-critical, but add to the atmosphere. They are obtained from the UK Settle and Carlisle Site here http://www.settleandcarlisle.co.uk/ Follow the Download / Content / Additional Scenery links in the Site.
Again, apologies.

cricketstar

the 5000/5020/6000 may well be QR locos but they were designed outright to work on the SG network, And if i read right 2819 has been forwarded to WA and is back on 3F6I bogies.

Cricketstar there is nothing wrong with using narrow guage to represent narrow guage, my QR WIP will all be released in narrow guage only with SG gauge being used only if and where required.

QGR Mt Hillard; A Steamy Affair

Hello All;

I will get to the great 3ft 6in debate latter, but first Mt Hillard is now on DLS but i will be uploading V2 which Includes a typical NCL crossing loop and a river bridge with portals to add continous running or QGR/QR Rolling stock. Here is some pictures of V2 but warning they are quite steammy and hot.

An old Queenslander nearly finished works out at around 1100 polys as most of the details are ad ons.
