Something Diffrent

Hi all,
Ive had some time to play around with Trainz recently and this is the result.
Due to a lack of avalible steam locos K103 was borrowed from Victoria.

K 103 storms out of Peterborough on a trip to Terowie

The K works hard on the grades.

The K sounded amazing working hard

Arrivng at Gumbowie.

A quick look in the cab.

The K chugs into the distance.

Possibly, but you never know. his site has been real quiet for sometime now. But cold be due to real life things, which take precedence over Trainz.

I am working on Nowra to Waterfall (DEM Based route thanks Seeseeme and Jerker for the DEM File), Though a slow process as I am building key buildings in Blender(Which I am teaching myself - Which I actually find rather easy to use)

Outlook for the route is an easy 12 more months + for even a beta run of track and basic texturing etc done.

At least some one if working a some thing. I am learning my self but cant ever work that gmax thing. Some day i will be able to use that. So the water fall route whats it going to be like. I will be moving back to sydney some time soon. will be buying a house some where. liek to have a place near the main south line.

I lived along that line, just north of Wollongong for 30 years, so I doing my best to make it as prototypical as I can. I know the line very well, so fingers crossed I can pull it off. I prefer Blender to Gmax myself to make models. I found the tutorials easier to use and am now doing quite well making buildings.

Does anyone know who the creater of the SAR Content in TRS2010 is??? I was wondering if they could be released in TRS2009??

Those are Auran made content (with the work being performed by Uncle Rob) updated specifically for TS2010 Engineers Edition, and won't be released for TS2009. The original intention for TS2010 (originally known as 'TS2009:Engineers Edition') was to include new content, where-as TS2009 would include the main code updates.

Ctrl or shift, if i remember. Not in surveyor atm.

I'm pretty sure you hold down shift while clicking and draging the object up or down with the height tool active

Have some bad news to report, i have been having some issues with 2006, and the version of Ipswich i was gonna release has been put on hold, i have been able to transfer it to 2010.


C-17 956 and its train awaits to collect the ash from the NSWGR Yeerongpilly Depot.


5906 is serviced at Yeerongpilly.


4432 rolls past the Yeerongpilly depot with NO3 Brisbane Express.


C-17 974 leads an empty stock train.

I sometimes get that, but when you drive the consist forward/backward a tiny bit, they jump down onto the track
People, should my camera, when it's on the train in TS2010 SP2, be above the train?

Its a TGV guards van by Michaelc i have had it sitting on the computer for years minus bogies, i used some bogies made by gregcash under it. It seems that i have one of the few copies of it, as Michaelc lost the original mesh and files for the van. But all is not lost he has given me persmission to upload it i will. I will look and see what i can do as i have had it running wellin 2006 using both gregcashes bogies and bogies from Dreddmans Evans cars though not right it works with them as well.

Lol thats funny. But i never had that before. I dont have 2010 but if i get that problem will say in here.

SAR Melton Valley

Another glimpse from South Australia's rural township of Melton Valley... a little removed from the trains this time, with the focus on a time series caption from "main street" and rear of the railway station...

For TS2010, the guys at Auran did a great job of road traffic and night time rendering... put the two together... not bad!
