Bombo, very good selection of your work keep it up (did you do up to Kiama by any chance............:hehe: )

Be good to have some 600/620s (cough cough Natvander cough:o :hehe: jks)

nah but seriously no pressure, I just wish i was around during the days when no all trains were EMUs and you can enjoy a ride on a loco-hauled service to Kiama or Nowra (or anywhere for that matter)

Keep it up seriously love that, anychance of releasing that??:)

WOW i live next to the line at bombo and thats is so realistic.good job could u give me the link to download it?thats the best screen shots i have seen good work mate.

Broad Gauge?

A double-headed Wheatie approaches Cowra in the wee hours of the morning

A short 2 car train waits at Waroona station as a wheat train hauled by a 48 prepares to depart for Kinambra to load.
As of yet 81's can not safely travel beyond Waroona so all trains past here are restricted to 48's, 49's and other similar branch engines.

I have released a broad gauge model of 'polly' (0-6-0 tank loco, now at Science Works in Spotswood), plus some 'chunky mesh' track in broad gauge.

All of the VR content by 'Billegulla' is correctly scaled to BG, just gauge converted to run on the SG track in TRS. I have been working on a gauge convertible (via scripting) model of R711 (In blue and gold, as it is now with steamrail), but I'm still awaiting a steam effect and permission from Steamrail to release it with the headboard. I also have some rolling stock, and some more locos. Oh, and some better track, which when released hopefully Bill will release a broad gauge version of his locos and rolling stock :)

Wait, how do you define rushed? I went through that area for the first time a couple of weeks ago (well the second time, but the first time was at night, so it doesn't count) on a train, and that was a pretty accurate representation.

Obviously the scenery, textures and stuff are not done, but the landscape, track layout and whatnot is pretty close. Hell, if you've got some spare OHW, slap down an L-set, and it's a pretty good representation.

Awesome :D.

(Also, can't miss giving yet more kudos to flathog for his nice screenies. A classic route (Branchline 2c, originally by Natvander for those of you playing at home), plus modern track and nice gum trees is a winning combination!)

Thanks Raichase.

I can't go without saying that your work is 100% better as it is 100% your own:p
I just love modelling Branchline's though and I love the mixing of modern era trains with Semaphore's and wooden sleepers:D
On that note do you have any more pi...screenies:o

Tom

EDIT:

Xplorer 2501 approaches Hells Bend.
Hells Bend is a rather sharp dip at the end of the bridge which is followed by a short but steep climb only then to face a Sharp curve.
Trains usually slow down for Hells Bend but if faced at the posted speeds you'll be in for a rough ride.

For the BG, it's coming soon. I'm currently working on a new set of BG, SG, and DG tracks. I'm also working on a 'DG' R class (R711 in blue and gold), K class (Original, numbers 100-109), as well as a set of 'W' cars and some freight rolling stock. I have also released a broad gauge, and a standard gauge, Z class (Z512, Polly). Billegulla's VR locos and 'E' cars are made for BG, just with SG wheel sets. Ad602000's locos are very close to being able to be gauge converted, and I have released a set of bogies for his 4 wheel wagons that are BG (and SG).

I did a quick look through my old screen shot folders today, it's amazing what you can find!

So, here's a few fairly random shots, all quite old!

screen927fh5.jpg

Here is a VERY VERY old shot of Hexham, before I replaced the rails with more appropriate ones, and added/replaced textures. I am extremely glad the route has progressed a lot since!
I'll have to post some more recent shots soon, as it has been blessed with quite a transformation since this!!

Another old one, although I don't think many people on the Trainz forum would have seen this. There's been a lot of people asking me about the DD, so I may as well tease you all here! Somewhat out of date, but hell, it was convenient!

And finally, a quick VR shot. I don't believe I've posted any VR shots, which is quite surprising, considering the amazing locos and stock we have now got!
