T388 rolls into Yarra Glen with an up goods.

Having completed safeworking, T388 roars across the first bridge on the Yarra Floodplain.

Here we see T388 crossing the Yarra River bridge, one of the two 'long' bridges on the flood plain.

Further south, T388 rolls through Yering station on it's way to Melbourne.

Just a short distance on, and we see the train rolling along one of the many embankments on the line.

And for those who are interested, this is the current end of the tracks. The bridge at the Healesville end of Lilydale. Basic scenery (no buildings and trees) currently ends at Yering.

Hi Peter,

Welcome, not sure of any aussie layouts for 10 but look under the usernames mulliebuck, 3830, colhad. for content you can look for usernames s301, davido, billegulla, victrainz or myself. Also do a search under NSWGR , QR etc My stuff is made for earlier version , but I'm told it will work in 10 with some tweaking.

cheers

Stories From The South Coast

Hello All & Our Newcomer Peter725

Well what a break in South Australia; now back to QGR.

Dear Ghosty, lovely shots there and I haven't touched my Southport -Cooa Creek section of the SCL but will get back tinkering with those charming PB15's passing the ever wounderful James (ED's) tall gums and the long whail of a Riverboat Whistle.

Please can you show me Sailsbury just for the old Commissioner to get a good idea what i am working with!!!! but is it late 1940's or early 50's?

But Patchy gets a gold star with his route which is mind blowing with a trainload of detail. Even I am stoked

P.S More QGR photograghy is being developed:hehe: .......on the laptop?

Trainz89

thanks, just some friendly adivce there, no need to quote with pictures think of those that do not have fast internet and the time it takes to load those shots in quote.

regarding era its mid 60s to mid 70s or there abouts. The Salisbury South Brisbane area still requires a large amount of time and my attention. I have yet to decide if i go Petrie line or South Brisbane once i complete Ferny Grove.

cheers
