Hey mate

Did you download or create the freight wagons behind 48111????

Thanks, SARRailways

They look like the ones that come built in with TRS2006. Look for the NSW NQSY and NQOY wagons (they're two that come to mind) and then there's the NKHY wagons which are a mixture of NODY and NQSY, I think. I'm being too trivial.

 Hi chuffbuff

can i get some in ANR an SAR color's :hehe: i would be happy to run about 50 on a nice route :D

That be correct, mouse over the stock and click Ctrl+right and edit its load. :)

Are you absolutely determined to freeze all our computers up with the level of detail in that bogey?
I'm joking, that's great work. Keep it up!:D

Keep what up, showing off rendered company Image's of someone else's industrial CAD design. Certainly not, I was however (like you and other's) impressed by the immense detail aswell and just had to share.

I thought about you the other day and how we had not seen you for a little while Col. I hope everything is going well and that you had a great Christmas and New Years celebrations, all the best for 2010 (and not the Trainz version :hehe: )

Good to hear from you again.

Trouble At The QGR Workshops

Good Day Everyone,

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the kind comments on the CQBY'a. Heres a first glimpse of them imported into Trainz (still a bit more work on the mesh and textures left to do though but functionally complete :) !). The bogies may change (currently 36 inch 2 axle truck) as I may have a crack at modelling them myself

Matt, I agree the bogies might be a tad small, but the body and colouration of the wagon is spot on. Can't fault it, looks just like the real thing!

I agree, those wagons look fantastic, only downside, is they look like they've come straight from the factory - other than that, I think they'll definitely find a home amongst many trainzers, who I'm sure, will put them to good use :)

As for importing content (routes, scenery items, etc) yes, you can import content from an earlier version of Trainz into TRS2010. I've imported a lot of content (nearly 50gb now) from 04/06/09 into TRS2010, and there's only a few items I have, that I've yet to fix (albeit they DO work just fine in 2010, I just like to have them error-free).

Then again, most of the other quality NSW content out there is in the same condition, factory new. A lot of the CWS content for example, is how it was designed to look, even though in real life it actually looks like... well, grime on wheels.

Thanks guys for the kind comments :) ! As I mentioned earlier the texturing still needs work, so there may be a grimier version to come :hehe: !

I may even make two versions; brand new one and a weathered version.

Cheers,

Matt
