Australian screenshots

Very nice David. Can't wait till my main computer arrives so I can go back into Trainz and do some more work.

Greetings from WA
Warren.

But I have now to post a screen to boost my EGO!...........................
I like the new QDR Blue ......way better than my R.G.G's 1461 doubles up with 1501 on the heratage tour past the old coalstage

Your teasing us again with the V sets Davido, DAMN you! LOL. Once again mate some excellent shots and excellent models.

Cheers

Trent

You know what, Tanvaras, I reckon that Davido's screenshots could be made even better than they already are with animated points. Now theres a challenge for Cardiff Workshops. :D

How much longer until the T class is released? I see that a few parts to it have been released, but when will it be available? I want the high hood variant so badly, I can hardly wait...

No idea on the high hood, I'm not working on any of them.

The low nose one will be uploaded once the DLS uploads are working again (or if I work out another release system before then...). I may do an early high cab one later on, but not for the immediate future...

What happened to the flattop that Jerker was working on Zec??

not sure at the moment :)
Best to ask him. From memory though, he was having trouble with the interior.

Once more back to Queensland we go.

1461 and 1492 cross Endeavour Rd Riverview with a western freight.

1485 and a sister unit lead a coal train under the Albion Overpass.

A 1200 class unit leads a short freight with a dead attached unit through Indooroopilly

Passing through Taringa heading for Swann Rd cutting.

1461 hauls a freight via the Exhibition loop

1485 passing through Indooroopilly with an empty coal train

happy Belated 150th Birthday Queensland .

cheers

The frog appears to create a gap when installed correctly. :p And it seems to me that it would not be impossible to simulate moving blades by raising and lowering "gaps" when the point machine is thrown.

Crossovers and slips are near impossible though
frog_demo_03.jpg

And is probably why Frank_Dean built fixed angle crossovers in his 2 foot track pack :hehe:

David, That Leading NR in the photos, Is that a new skin or modified ? I don't ever remember seeing the livery like that.

Good start Pete
However, it is way too long. The side windows need to be square (resizing till they are square should bring it about right overall). And the engine looks to be too long as well. From memory, these were built on the 'short' I/IA wagon chassis (I'll need to check that one).

I really need to dig my one out again and finish it off. Never was able to make the engine to my liking :( Mind you, at the time, I didn't have any photos of it... :)

Nup, it's just the old Sea Train Livery....must be the light

@Comtrain....Still a long way from animated points mate.
I dare say making a set of animated points would be simple enough but it's all the variants that come after. Left turn, right turn, long radius, short radius, y's etc. Then there's all the different tracks, rusty, oily, concrete sleepers, timber sleepers, different ballasts .....nup, keep your eye on the rollingstock and you won't notice the junctions :D:hehe:
Those frogs etc. do dress them up a bit...I might have a look at them.

Cheers
Davido
