An empty coal train departs Carnamah for the coal mine just outside of town. Once loaded, it will head to the Donnybrook power station.

And then the train didn't load, and I didn't have InstantLoad ready, chaos ensued. So I might get screenshots of the return trip when the return trip actually happens.

And as usual, I'm an American, and have no idea how Aussie railways work. So if I've done anything horribly unrealistic here, I apologize. But hey, it is just a game.

Nice pics, weird it didn't load, should be setup for the standard coal commodity there. Maybe try different coal wagons?

Thanks Scratchy! It's possible I was doing something wrong. Doing a second run, it loaded probably the second half of the train using the old fashioned "Navigate To... > Load" commands. I'm using the NSW QHBH coal hoppers from Hotbox.

Honestly, I think it's just the game being weird. It does that sometimes.

Heritage listed Manilla Viaduct & bridge over the Namoi river.

Upper Minilla whistle stop - stockyard & freight depot.

Tarpoly - another small whistle stop as the line climbs up through the mountains.

The route is nearing completion - hopefully on the DLS in a few weeks.
