A mixed freight and passenger service to Quorn arrives at Bruce (yes, that is its real name and not from a Monty Python comedy sketch). By the 1960s the station building was in ruins. After the line was closed in 1987 the building was bought and restored as a private residence.

Sand and red soil. SAR T 258 hauling a mixed freight and passenger consist enters the sandy desert country near Kingswood, the last stop before Quorn and the end of its 137km run from Peterborough. The narrow gauge line was once part of the transcontinental rail link between Sydney and Perth. It closed in 1987 after the building of a more efficient standard gauge link between the two coasts.

Hi Nezzy, My name is Rylee and I have Autism. And I'm wondering if this is a newer route. I have the route which is the SARN4T Adelaide Route TRS2012. Did you change things in this layout? or Are you building this route to get it ready to upload to the download station? I am very fascinated on this newer layout on what I am looking at. Hi Rylee, this is my own route which I have slowly been working on over the past few years. It has no relation to the SARN4T route, however it does cover the same places. I am building this route to be uploaded to the DLS but it is still a very long way away. If for whatever reason I ever stop working on this, I will upload the route to DLS so someone can run it or even continue building it. If you want to see more screenshots of this route, be sure to look through some of the previous pages in this screenshot thread, I have posted screenshots from many different places over the past few years.
