Australian screenshots

I think Connyxy created some wonderful Australian content.... am I mistaken? Or maybe it wasn't released. If it was, then where may I find some of the content. I want to start getting stuck into Australian content:cool:..... Cheers!

QR used wyes to turn their locos 99% of the time. Only the major depots (Rockhampton, Manly, Willowburn, etc) had turntables. In Rockhamptons' case, there were 2! (Although the fact that the depot itself was used to house ALL of the Beyer-Garratt fleet in the fifties - not sure of the total number of locos)

Cheers,
Torana.:)

Hi Guys, do you know if anything has happend with these C17's yet...
I know dreddman had some trouble and said he would give them to someone else to host.

Does anyone know anything about them? :)

Torana, your question about the railmotors has been answered.
Davido created these beauties, and they work in Trs 2004 as my friend uses them.
There kuid's are [FONT=Verdana, Arial]

vt-cliff-spline-set.jpg

Also got a ground texture to go with them now :)

Zec

These look really interesting.
May I ask, has anyone taken them up & either are working on them or have them available for release??.

And Zec thank you for these initial early ones. What a great contribution. :)

I need the simple one which does not have any stalls comeing out of it just the turntable and a track going to it, Any ideas if one actually exists? If not does anyone know of an Aussie looknig 105 foot turntable with stalls on it ?

Zec is the person fixing them up but other projects have gotton in the way and it's on hold.

Joining and checking the Victrainz site will give more info as to progress.

Hi everyone, while sending and email to Noel (nbrettoner) about a layout we are working on that we need to build something or have some make it for us in Gmax, I realised that others may also like something like this.

What we are after is an irrigation canal, while this is easy to "build", the size (and mainly width) is not. Noel and I remember the days when we saw such canals and they where not so wide, the limitations of TRS are our problems. From my memory many of them where about 5-6ft wide and had an edge about 3-4 high on them so that the canal was higher then the surrounding land. This meant it was easy to water, make a hole in the embankment :hehe: or open a gate. The other thing that would be really handy for our layout is the irrigation wheel (image below) that was used to "force" the flow of the water around a farm or area.

The area we are talking about are the Irrigation areas of south west of NSW. If anyone can offer any suggestions or help us it would be much appreciated.

Craig

Bill.

Many Thanks,

Hi Bill,

I have to go out for an hour, then home for a bit & will get some pics of that waterwheel & small sluice gates etc. I also have some reasonably good pics of canals & small channels.
Could you please email me or IM me with your email address so I can get it to you?.

Many thanks for your interest & kind offer to help Bill.
:)
