Australian screenshots

Merry Christmas and best wishes to all of you for the coming year. There have been some great pictures in here, I marvel at the quality of your work, so realistic.
Thank you all for sharing,
Tom

Hi
I just downloader Davido Lever crossings but get the following
Error: Incorrect number of values for the tag 'repeat-delay', expected 2 values, found 1.
Can someone tell me how to fix them

David

It was updated to not give errors in TANE you need to back date it by one version for TS12 IIRC

T340 and T351 sit at the head of a brace of VR hood diesels before heading over to their train.

2016-12-26%20174417.jpg

Having collected their train, T340 leads a heavy mixed goods out of Vernon.

2016-12-26%20174746.jpg

Just outside Vernon, the train crosses one of the many timber bridges on the line.

2016-12-26%20174849.jpg

As the varying grades make the crew work hard to keep to the speed limit, the train rolls through the many curves outside Vernon.

2016-12-26%20180014.jpg

With the brakes fighting the downhill gradient and heavy train, the Ts, Y and X grind to a hault to pickup some log wagons at West Clyde.

2016-12-26%20180450.jpg

After departing West Clyde, the locos work hard to keep their train moving as it crosses one of the tall bridges on the line.

2016-12-26%20181050.jpg

With brakes squealing, the train winds through the mountains on it's way to Northern Hill loop. With the gradient change here, the crew will soon rev up the locos and release the brakes to make it up the grade.

2016-12-26%20183705.jpg

Just outside Wellington Hill, the train passes a set of grain silos

2016-12-26%20184511.jpg

Having finally arrived at Wellington Hill the train will be shunted, with quite a few wagons dropped off and some new ones collected, before continuing onwards. A failure of the speedometer just before Wellington Hill will see the T340 swapped for T351 before continuing on.

Zec

Someone was saying those T's were going to be released 'tis season.
That was probably Tom,

I believe he's waiting for me to finish uploading the bogies to the DLS, first series ones are the only ones left and just need the LOD's finalised, if it's a hot day I don't do anything as the computer super heats my bedroom :P

Someone like Tom himself or Jamie will know the true answer.
Cheers, Stefan.

Awesome shots Zec. The lighting and shadow effect is great. You didn't get a new graphics card for Christmas did you??? LOL, well done mate.
Cheers,
Baz.

Absolutely no idea when. preferably sooner rather than later, but when it's done is the most accurate answer. There's plenty of other unreleased stuff too :( VL's, Siemens, T's, XR's, H's, all the quarry hoppers, container wagons and the like. (Plus stuff not in trainz yet) ATD is a very busy bunch of guys, unfortunately.

It's not all that nice having stuff that others don't have :p I'm keen to see what Graeme can do with all these T's on the North East Line

Thanks! No new graphics card, still running a GTX770 from a few years back (been a very good card though!), but I did receive some pointers from a mate on getting the shaders in TANE setup to look like this :) All down to slight tweaking of the shaders, and getting the environment settings just right :)

Peter, fantastic scene in Western Tassie. I might suggest changing to 5m grid (if you are in TS2009 or newer), and making the 'ledge' a bit narrower, will give that really cramped look the line seems to have had. Actually, there's a challenge, model the Hagans Patent loco they had there along with the Ks and the Sharp Stuarts (I think they were) ;) I've looked at it far too many times, and still haven't work out a way to properly make it work in Trainz lol.

Jamie, I think that R needs blacker smoke :P Actually, might be worth having a play with that at some point... hmmm :)

Great shot Mick, the yellow Y really stands out nicely there :)

Roy, thanks! I just try to make my shot look like I've taken a photo, so all relatively close to the ground :) Have been having a ball taking screenshots on the route though, so many different angles to try at different times of day. Still yet to try the other direction in morning light though...

Cheers Zec yep the old yellow Y would have to be one of my fav's now after Tom and David fixed it up, I think your pic's of the T would have to be the first time i've seen you post pic's of sumthing more modern then 1830 ?. Nice work anyways mate bout time we got you into the modern age :hehe:.

Nice work Pete; but you might need a lumber-jack. There's a dirty big gum tree growing right in the middle of your track. That could hold you up for a while mate.

Cheers,
Roy

Yeah, Mick, that be my fault. Zec was showing me a bunch of screens of the locos that come with the BN route, and also with his DDs, so I asked him to put some Ts and Xs on a freight on there, as I'm patiently waiting for the Ts to be released. Consist was T-T-Y-T-H-X :D
