Awesome stuff Azza and Matt!! Sending over a PM now Matt :)

These ones have taken me a whole days work but I'm extremely stoked with how they've turned out...

The Redcliffe Line - Just included a new residential subdivision to my route as the line crosses the Bruce Highway. This highway is the major arterial for road transport that runs parallel to the East Coast of Queensland. I've now reached the 'half-way' mark of my route with three more stations to build. A few more screenshots that include a NSW Trainlink V Set consist (courtesy of 'memeboy and davidos') which are very well detailed. It's very rare to see NSWGR equipment running on QR rails.

The afternoon sun highlights the highway cutting as the NSW Trainlink V Set heads for Murrumba Downs Station. Enjoy.

That last screenshot certainly fits the name of the route Roy! :D :)

Those Xs are looking great Tom. I might have another look at that ZMF soonish, maybe. I've learned quite a bit since I made it, which may help to actually fix some of the issues that caused it to stall... lol

Very very nice work Roy! As a fellow urban builder myself I can attest how much work you've put in so far. Impressive indeed.

As to the QR EMU's and IMU's, unfortunately I think you're stuck with whatever is available. IIRC there are some decent quality ones on the DLS? They're not payware quality but they're certainly satisfactory, and look the part, despite their age.

Thanks H222, I do appreciate your comments. In regard to the QR EMU's, I had previously downloaded what QR's were available on the DLS, and you're right, they are not payware quality. I'll just keeping looking for something that works well and doesn't look out of place.
I originally came from NSW before retiring to Qld, so I am still very partial to NSWGR stock. It's quite possible that I may even use memeboy and davidos stock,.. Tangara; Trainlink, CitiRail series. (They produce good stuff - best downloads I've done for ages)
Cheers,

Thanks Zec for your comments.
Since moving to Redcliffe 12 years ago, the area has grown on me. With the textures now available on T:ANE, it's like having a license to create what I like; and I'm enjoying it.

What highways are you using in your last shot mate?

Jamie
Hi Jamie, I'm using the TUME assets in my highways. Split highway for my main arterial and non-split highway for the overpass. Here's a list ...

HIGHWAY - 4 LANES + CRASH BARRIERS

SPLIT ROAD 2 LANES > ….. Y-44120-L2-DL1-SI+SH-103-TS12
INTERSECTION W BYPASS … Y-44110-L4-HWY-RAMP-103-TS12
BYPASS ROAD > … Y-44116-L1-DL1-SI+SH-101-TS12

BRIDGE … Y-44109-L4-BRIDGE-DL1-SI+SH-102-TS12
BRIDGE (UNDER) … Y-44100-L4-BRIDGE-UNDER-TS12

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HIGHWAY - 4 LANES W/O CRASH BARRIERS

ROAD 4 LANES … Y-44129-L4-DL1-SI+SH-103-TS12
ADAPTER … Y-44195-L2-L2-ADAPTER
INTERSECTION WITH BYPASS …. Y-44102-L4-HWY-RAMP-103-TS12
BYPASS ROAD > … Y-44116-L1-DL1-SI+SH-101-TS12

Here's a couple more on the VSX, I should also point out that the ends haven't been baked, I spent almost all morning yesterday trying (about 4 or 5 hours as I was up at 03:00 ish and gave up about 09:00 ish), the computer always uses 100% cpu when baking, but when I bake the ends it gets to about 5.5% baking then drops to 25% cpu and just sits there for a while then throws a out of memory message.

Had to be done I thought Azza ;) The other new content I got today had errors until later on :p As you can see, they work now and I weathered some

Excellent shots guys.

Matt, the GL's look awesome mate, well done. ;)
Lesley, Those X class are top notch mate!
Hewi12, those screenshots are outstanding, easily the best setup I've ever seen. Id love to get some pointer one day when I get a computer that handles tane properly.

There has been a fair bit of progress of late, with a few variations of K sets finished and the Goninan S set cars as well.

The Newcastle local trains were formed by 2 Car K sets, of which this is one. Made up of a Motor Car and a Driving Trailer Car.

Then when they replaced those K sets with Oscar trains, they converted the into two 4 car sets.

A 4 car Goninan S set.

Hey Taggy, Great screenshots - Those CitiRail sets look like they have been further than Bondi Junction and back.

By the way, what catenary and gantry do you use ? Are they payware or on the DLS ?
Cheers,
Roy3b3

Hi guys, these wire sets are indeed form Davido but his site it is gone now. Someone said it will be back but I don't know when.
Thanks for the kind words, Memeboy will be happy you guys like them. :)
The desto will eventually work Roy, this is just for now. ;)

Thanks Taggy, Luckily, some months ago I had downloaded Davido's 'NSW overhead wire & gantry' files for a NSW route I was working on in TS12. I'd forgotten I still had it (I never delete good downloads). So I imported the CDP files into T:ANE and committed them. No errors and they look fine. A little bit fiddly to work with (pity the catenary wire and gantry aren't in the one asset) but beggars can't be choosers, and they are far better looking than what I was using.

From this screenshot, I'll still need to lower the wire height slightly to suit the Tangara catenary and the Central Coast set.
Cheers,
Roy3b3
