Australian screenshots

You've obviously gone for the dirt road texture look Zec or is that just a undercoat for beneath the roads you would add later ?. Looks good anyway from your other screenies of this area.
Mick.

For this version, being Circa 1914, it's all dirt roads. Decided to just use ground textures, as they blend a little better. If I get a chance to do a 1940s/50s era layout, I'll definitely add in some bitumen roads (and invisible roads for some of the busier dirt roads), with a bit of traffic :) In which case, the existing dirt will become 'undercoat' for the bitumen roads. From the train/ground level the textured roads look quite accetable IMO, but become a little obvious that they are textures when up higher.

And that's basically it! :)

Completely rebuilt the yard, and built the custom platform, in a night... Been a heck of a night lol!

Now to build the stuff that goes onto the platform, and the 'buffers' for the 'carriage truck dock' (the dead end with the red/purple flat wagon in it). Oh yes, and finish the terrain for the yard, and re-texture it to fit :)

All in all though, I think it looks much better with the curve in it!

Hi all,

Started on converting the Wadalbavale line to look like the South Coast line.
Halley River has become like Kiama (post electrification)...

More to follow in the coming weeks.

What? No screenshots? Well, we can't have that, so I post one preview screenshot of what I am presently working on:

The AN DL Class is still work in progress, no yellow racing stripes and no nose logo yet. Also the front skirt will have different striping. Still to start are the National Rail versions and a clean AN DL Class with the AN yellow/gold bogies. Also DL 45 in the picture will have a nose job done, similar to the PN DL Class 35 on the right.

Enjoy

C17 In The Valley

G, Day All,

Just a few shots of C17 #956 running with a passenger train through the Brisbane Valley.

This is one of the most famous QR photo's that was taken, C17 #956 on the same bridge.

A view from one of the houses in the Brisbane Valley as #956 storms through the country side as she heads back towards Esk.

And the last one for the day, C17 #956 passing bye some old road bridge footing's, about half way between Esk and Toogoolawah.

More shots coming soon so stay tuned.

-Cheers

@patchy, Yeah I know it's wrong. I ran up to Toogoolawah for the first time thinking there may be a turning facility there but there wasn't. Next time I think I will just leave the water gin behind.

-Cheers

added in the screenshots

@falcon500, I hate it, I hate, hate, hate it. I have downloaded the tracks but they just won't appear in the route and they are sort of ruining the shots. If anyone here does have kents BVL, do you guys mind sending the me tracks bye email.

Anyway, here is two more

vv
C17 #956 crossing over a small bridge crossing just outside of Esk, Toogoolawah bound.

C17 #974 is Brisbane bound with a goods train between Esk and Cominya.

@Patchy, I checked that there weren't any missing dependencies and I made sure I commited it, still no sign of why it isn't working. I did find a NZR track pack that is a zip folder that is needed for the route, How do I get a zip folder into trainz?.

-Cheers

G'day!

@LittleBondi.

You gotta unzip the .zip folder by right clicking and extracting to somewhere, your desktop is a great place to do that. Then open CMP and go to File>Import Content and select the folder that was the .zip and click Ok.

Cheers!

Jake.
