Australian screenshots

some good routes that are available are pgibbons NSW North Coast (it is rather large), from what ive heard patchy's kingaroy, Brisbane Valley Line, Mt Isa and Cloncurry to Phosphate Hill, razorback which is built-in to ts10, a route i personally enjoy is fallow creek by muiliebuck, others on this thread can recomend more, but these ones other than patchy's i recommend, i cant recommend something i cant get to work

Just a correction,
Brisbane Valley Line is by Kentith45

Thanks for the information on that engine sir. I really want to get into more Australia content, do you know where I can go to find more like routes, rolling stock, locomotives in general? Sorry for not knowing much. I live in North America and decided a change would be nice to try out. Thanks for all the help in advance Beattie. Sorry for taking this off topic a bit everyone.

Re locomotives, try my username on the DLS, there are the various AN Classes, CLP Classes, SCT Class, LDP Classes, all made for TS12 but configured for TS09, so others with TS09/10 and TS12 can enjoy these. Plus there are heaps of other content creators having created Australian stuff. Davido has some amazing models on his web site plus lots more CCs, too numerous to list.

Cheers

In what manner do you mean too small, this is 1 stage of 10 pieces that make the bridge,
the old bridge on downloads was to small for the V-Set and many Trains but it was from the old plans of the old bridge, but this one is just right with a bit of room to spare

Yes the old bridge. The one bridge with a bit of room to spare looks much better. :D Maybe ask Davido if he can create a small overhead wire spline to fit in the bridge?

Just a correction, Brisbane Valley Line is by Kentith45 Cheers,Patchy

some good routes that are available are pgibbons NSW North Coast

The northern NSW ones by pgibbons is great and I often use it. Pgibbons also has done some wonderful ones in the south and south western areas of NSW.

Depends on what countryside you prefer as to which ones of pgibbons you use; coastal branches and heavy duty mainline [Casino Kyogle Muwillumbah, Ballina], south western slopes heavy duty mainline [Cootamundra Junee Wagga] South western slopes branch lines [Booroowa] or western plains branch lines out towards Griffith and Hay. Than there are the southern mountain branches to Tarcutta and Tumbarumba. Cowra region lines comes to mind as well.

The Brisbane Valley and Kingaroy ones are TZ12 and the latest pgibbons ["NSW North Coast" which is the northern ones combined] is TZ10. The other pgibbons seem to be earlier trainz versions such as tz06

The Port of Brisbane by Targanon, in tz12, was released this year. This is a major container, grain, coal, woodchip and general cargo port. The port of Brisbane has serviced extra large USN vessels. We personally have seen the giant aircraft carrier USN Ronald Reagan there which gives you a judge of the port's capacity. Major passenger liners have been "alongside" as well.

My opinion of all these routes is that all are accurate when compared to the real geography and rail features.

Must be time we set up a data base of Australian routes as we are frequently asked this question by new folk so we keep on repeating the same answers re routes, locos and rolling stock.

Could folks please add the similar high quality routes from the rest of Australia that so far seem to be left out of our answers? Our friend from the USA may like material from other parts of Australia?

Still trying to get used to figuring out you guys rollings stock and how things are operated. I really appreciate you guys helping out a new person to Australia's railway system and yes if you can find anything else for me to look at it would help alot.

I did build a support for Davido's wire spline for the Hawkesbury River Bridge and it would also be usefull on the Sydney Harbour Bridge as well, it runs throught the centre of the RSJ and holds the wire spline above and below the RSJ.
In the case of the Sydney Harbour Bridge it will hold it underneath the security inspection platforms over the track.

You've beaten me to the war time 38:(.
Unfortunatly kid thats the way it is sum will just throw what ever they like on the DLS wether it be completed properly or even if it work's it doesn't matter just get it on there all in the name of filling up the DLS with faulty crap. Keep working on your copy and do your best that's all we can ask.
Cheers Mick.;)

Lines to the Lachlan by me is a good rural NSW route :) or weddin by footplatephil

Those were the other NSW ones in the back of my head I was trying to remember and sorry I forgot them as I have enjoyed them! People have spoken of other routes and rollingstock in the past as well.

Any pre tz10 routes with items that are not compatible are easily upgraded by replacing or adding missing items. It is the base route and lines that are the beauty of these as the geography in the Trainz route is very much correct and a labour of love.

BEAR + PETE... many thanks for the various content you've released over the last month or so...;) You guys are awesome.

Couple of my favourite... she's a beauty...
