Anthony

your work is coming along well, just take your time and be prepared to make some practice routes to help you hone your skills. i learned a lot from a lot of practice routes and maps and experimentation.

the mesh as it stands however is correct for 5112 in late 60's condtion - she inherited an auto coupler on the front towards the end, but was photographed at Goulburn 1967/68 in pretty much the condition you have it now - married to your existing turret tender would be a quick way of introducing a second version of the model with little extra effort a la http://www.pbase.com/stanb/image/91587662
Still, am looking forward to seeing these released

Being a Bathurst boy would love to have 5112, all better to grow the myth that Ex Aussie Prime Minster, Ben Chifley was once an engine driver.

Records state that good old BC never made it past "Acting" Driver and a dear departed relative made it very clear that he was a very poor fireman at the best of times and as a driver was very much only the Bathurst yard shunter

After hanging 108 doors I am a little tired,

So I went on and got the spraypaint and brake shed done as well as the weighbridge under construction, not bad for a days work I think.

I am going to check out the the beerware site now.

Cheers,

Bill.

I've taken a liking to 5069. However, it will probably end up with changeable numbers. I have used 5069 as the base for this model, and it's getting close to accurate. The lanterns were a bit fiddly

Thanks for the compliment Mark, I can give you a copy of "that" loco I know the bloke that made it.
The coal stage already has a place here.

See you,

Now That is really starting to look good.... :) - I Like the idea of the changeable numbers too - makes double headers a littel more convincing :)

I agree with the sentiments of others, some mighty fine Aussie content being created here, so I say more power to the creators, and a big thank you for their outstanding work, time and dilligence, to bring pleasure to those less capable of achieving such goals ourselves :)

I definately fit into that category somewhere of being less capable, must be all part of being 'mentally derailed.'

I bugger off to Canberra to play trains down there, and I come back to an unmentionable amount of awesomeness. Pete producing some really mind blowing steam locos, video from Colhad and more teasers from Nat, just to name a few! Really good reading and screenie viewing from everyone over the last few days, thanks guys, keep 'em coming :D

Wonder if I should tell you that all the best content comes from Canberra or at least the ACT modellers group, even if they are now spread all over the country :)

Now, now, Bearcat245....you've already been told it was Canberra, Cowra or the Correctional Centre, surprised you didn't stay with the rest of them in Canberra:p

Doesn't surprise me, having been down there just last weekend, nothing else to do but play with Trainz! Very few "real" ones to chase!

Well when I go to Canberra, normally the Correctional Centre is the first place I visit. Only as it seems if you do not turn up for work you do not get paid.:) :) :) ...
