Nice to see you are enjoying Kingaroy, Forest
Now here is a really dumb question, who's 1700 class loco are you using i don't seem to have that one:confused:

Cheers,
Patchy

Hi Patchy... the 1700 is dreddman's from the QDR site. Grab all the 1720's as well. I really like these models, but am still looking around for a suitable cab to use for them.

Mick, thanks for the encouragement! I'm slowly plodding along, one board at a time, and it will indeed be available when it is finished with. Having some fun testing the grades with the 82 class, which leads to distraction...

Great screenshots been posted lately,Nice to see some good routes being created with some great content being used.
@Ziggy-Your cityrail route is looking good,Seems you have found quite alot of content and put it all together and making one cracking route.
@Raichase-Nice to see some more shots from your fictional route,Quite nice.
@Davido-Nice videos,Thanks for the Updated 82 Class and are they new coal hoppers aswell?

Cheers Harry

Thanks for the 80 class, I've been waiting for one to appear for a long time and yours turned up just when it was needed. I've tried it and the X200 in TRS12 and found they operate well although the 80 class seemed a little too quick on the take off and the number boards look like they protrude from the body just a little too much. I've also noticed that with the 85 class but I was quite happy with it the way it is.

The only other thing is that when I clicked on the 80 class in quick drive where I had two coupled together it would only let me drive from the middle cab. I don't know if that's something I'm doing wrong or if I had to turn the locomotive.

At any rate I love this model.

Thanks Harry! Been texturing another board this evening, then took a Broken Hill passenger type train for a run (with Pete's SA power van standing in for the CountryLink ones, and the cars painted in Candy and not CountryLink colours) down the grade to see how everything looks from the cab.

Thanks - the number boards are a little hard to get right due to the small size of the number planes in gmax remember also that these are only the beta locos. Never driven anything in quick drive so can not comment on these. I do know that some drivers had issues when two 80's were mued together with the second unit all of a sudden taking on a mind of its own. Maybe thetrainz units also has got this bug :)

This is true. I remember getting two off the service road at DELEC one night and coupling them together. When I power tested them they both tried to head in opposite directions. Very disconcerting.

No problems Harry.
The hoppers are experimental NHVF's with faded paint jobs and graffiti cover patches. They also are scripted to randomly carry a logo and every now and then one will have a flat spotted bogey as well as the normal tracksound.

Cheers
