@NSWGR_46Class : The 80's and x200 will be great additions to the fleet! I'm wondering about the NSWGR 70 class shunter that's obsolete on the DLS.. is that something you have access to, to bring back to life?

At beachside terminus Diamond Bay, the driver changes ends to take this U set back to the city.

You may be pleased to know that the 70 class is on my list of the to do's - after I finish doing the prep work on the NSW X's ( this is hinting that there may be more than one ) and all the 80's I want to do

The 49 class was originally released by Colhad. I approached Colhad and asked if I could play with the mesh, which I did adding some detail etc. Colhad then agreed to allow release after I had finished with it. It's colhads model, I just tinkered with it. So there is Colhad's original 49 and his second 49 with some input from me.

cheers
Pete

PS its the rounded version of the X200, squarish version on the way as is the X100, that is if "the trainz freak formerly known as Bearcat" stops distracting me with other things. The third party thing is a no goer the item was very heavy on polys and construction techniques used arent compatible with present day practices. It was worth a try and I thank them for the opportunity.

pps I didnt know the 70 class was broken

It's folk like you and photographer's who take the time to do this kind of thing and share the result's that make's modelling sum of this stuff so much easier.

Thanks Mick :D You can have a look at my Flickr which gets updated way more frequently than my Youtube which is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/trainman3801/

@ziggy and dimi, looking good, keep up the good work :Y:

@Pete Would it be possible that you release your BBW/NHWF ballast hoppers, or give them to 46 class to do some work on them if they aren't up to scratch? I remeber you posted a screenie of them a while ago and then a few weeks later you said you were retiring from content creation.

Wonder if it would be rude of me to mention that this was a Tangara we were looking at - and to be the tease that I keep getting told I am say that the project is still being looked at but would have to be a fresh build not a port of a Tangara from another platform.

BTW anybody have a set of Tangara plans sitting around - oh and yes we do know abut the Cityrail fleet list web site.

X200's and some 80's should be ready for beta testing tonight

Nice screens... and videos... guys. Beautiful stuff.

Still playing with QR - no thanks to Kent & Patchy :p. Messing around with angles on the Kingaroy branch... this route is a delight to run.

Hi Dimi... been a while.

That is Patchy's QR Kingaroy-Proston Branch released May 12. So not my works.

Re your NSW reference, this route is so well representative of Australian in general, I reckon any state network would look good on it.

On another point, when I first started with Trainz I was a NSW diehard. Given content at the time, I think there was more QR and SAR so I got into this. As such Trainz broadened my horizons and I've started to learn a little about the rest of Australia because of it. It's really fascinating stuff.

PS Boree Creek looks like it's coming on fantastically. Keeping my eye on it no doubt!
