Auran asset missing dependency

This morning, I have an Auran Asset: <kuid:-25:1571> EMD Hood Unit Interior that is missing this dependency: <kuid2:276266:100460:23>
I have version :22, but no listing of asset versions lists a version :23. Does Auran plan on putting version :23 on the DLS? <kuid2:276266:100460:22> EMD GP40-2 Cab shows as packaged, so why is Auran listing an asset on the DLS that has a packaged dependency? Or as I say, is :23 going to be on the DLS?

Actually, this is also causing the following to be missing dependencies:
<kuid2:661281:67532:1> TRS22 - Additional Content Package
<kuid:661281:67536> TRS22 - MPS Package
<kuid2:45324:100196:4> CN C40-8

• <kuid2:276266:100460:21> is "Built-in", <kuid2:276266:100460:22> is installed (not "Packaged"), no trace of <kuid2:276266:100460:23>

• <kuid:-25:1571> is not installed: could the issue come from this one?

It looks like this is the problem, and it came from the DLS in the April 04 downloads, so maybe I should revert to something else. IT has an obsolete table for the following:

I am having this same problem, noticed it yesterday evening. Missing <kuid2:276266:100460:23> from EMD Hood Unit Interior.

However I'm also missing <kuid2:45324:100:5> from Jointed Rail Train Effects Library v 1.46d, that kuid was recently mentioned in the missing kuids thread, but the solution posted did not help me.

These two missing kuids have cause a huge amount of things to have missing dependencies. If a solution is found for <kuid2:276266:100460:23> please let me know, and if anyone has ideas for what can be done about <kuid2:45324:100:5> that would be great too.

Update!

I was able to download <kuid2:45324:100:5> "dummy engine" from the DLS just now. It was not available previously so I guess that was fixed between me checking last and now.

Unfortunately <kuid2:276266:100460:23> is still not on the DLS, so no news there yet. I'll check again in the morning.

I'll post this in both Missing Kuids and the thread that was specifically made for this issue so anyone with these problem(s) has a high chance of seeing it.

Not yet.

However, It was suggested that you can go into the config and change the :23 to :22, since <kuid2:276266:100460:22> is the previous version.

I haven't done this because I have a very large number of assets that are missing it, so I decided to wait a couple days and see if N3V releases the newer version onto the DLS. Which in that case downloading it would be much easier than manually editing hundreds and hundreds of assets.

Checking my Email this morning, I saw that last night I received a response on my support ticket. Unfortunately however, the solution that was given did not help my situation at all. I replied with this and will check again tomorrow morning.

They said to do an extended database repair, which I did. It didn't help with this issue and as far as I can tell it didn't do anything. Granted I was in a bit of a rush this morning so I wasn't able to do a full look through.

It works because the original asset is built-in and the assets now refer back to the original. This is how Trainz data works and has worked for the past 22 years at least. If the old version isn't installed, then there's a problem causing another missing dependency being the original.

I hear you John, but in this case, Auran is posting a NEW asset version to the DLS which requires a NEW version of the dependency, but they are not providing the new version of the dependency. No DBR is going to fix that, unless I am misunderstanding something

Checked my Email this morning and support responded again.

This time they told me to list the asset versions for <kuid2:276266:100460:23> and reply with the versions shown.

I did this, but I'm not really sure how this is going to help.
