Assigning a KUID after reskinning

Learning... slowly!
I've 'reskinned' a loco for personal use only- literally, I duplicated the explorer files, opened the image files in GIMP and changed the colours of them to my own preference.

The only thing is, I've realised I'll need to assign the reskin it's own KUID so it can be differentiated from the original by trainz (or at least I assume that's how it works?) How do I go about doing this?

As I say, the project's entirely for personal use. At a later stage I'd like to try reskinning something properly but I'm just experimenting for now.

Cheers

You should have cloned it first.
In fact with what you've done clone then replace the files and name it what you want.

At which point should I have cloned it? In Mac's CMP there's no option to do that, so cloning the explorer file (the one that contains the config, textures, components etc) was the only option, which was what I did.

Thought you were using plain old 2012, would have been r/click, select clone.
I wonder if you could edit in 2012 then import to your mac version.

Ahhh okay, my bad- I should have explained. I might have a go at that later- 2012 is on a desktop that I don't use much at the moment but I'm sure it could handle this! Cheers Fran1.
