Hi Razor. It always puzzles me why people would think that no news is bad news. I know we could communicate more, and we could certainly tell you every day that "we're working on the issues as fast as we can" and we can even tell you "there will be a fix soon". We understand your frustration and we are frustrated too trying to replicate the issues that some people are having. So rather than being on "ignore" we are in fact working on "spend our time trying to identify the issues, replicate the issues and solve the issues. Currently we do not have a reliable repro in house of "freezing" or Content Manager "hangs".
We have fixed some issues and will be releasing a hotfix most likely next week. However, we are also putting the next patch through extra testing to make sure nothing new is broken. If we released the fix now, instead of the "N3V are ignoring us" we could be getting "the next patch is worst than the last one".
Unfortunately we live in an age where there are a myriad of hardware systems and software packages that result in some systems behaving vastly differently to others. If our systems were displaying the same behaviour that SOME users are reporting, then we wouldn't have released any patches as yet.
Let me stress that we recognize that there are issues and we are working to resolve them as fast as we can.
The best thing people that could happen from our position is for people having problems figuring out what configuration on their system is causing the problem. Does turning off some Malware system resolve the pausing? Disconnecting from the internet? Who knows what else may be the cause that some people are seeing different behaviours to others.
