Any ATSF Fans Here?

You know what, your right Dusten, we are both fans, the biggest Santa Fe fan in the world is Stephen Priest, not me. So you know what, i am not the biggest Santa Fe fan, we can't forget all the engineer and mechanics, who worked for the road, i got nothing on them, and you know what if you ask me there is such thing as a fallen flag, KEEP ON ROLLING FF'S!!!!!!!!! (Forever Flags).

Hello all. I am wondering if there are any ATSF fans here? I have just got hooked on the ATSF and I am wondering if there are any ATSF fans here.

I'm a fan of the ATSF. I'm also a huge fan of Norfolk Southern and CSX. I wish I could make the ATSF railway come back by wishing it back.\

I'm old enough to remember that song "... on the Atchison Topeka and Sa-a-anta Fe."

Was my favourite song when I was five! :hehe:

Did you go in the engine room of a FP45 and witness the great beast waken from its sleep? I doubt it.
Does your Grandpa tell you storys of operating the Super Chief back in the day? I even have a operations book from the ATSF from 1969. I have two Santa Fe lanterns in my room, Santa Fe calenders that date back to the 80s, and at my grandpas house he/I have an actual Red and Yellow Santa Fe caboose!

My Grampa died while fixing a F7, he was electricuted, so no my grampa can't tell me those stories, but ye is have seen many many engines waking up from the "sleep", so you thnk your the biggest fan no, i am no matter what anybody says i win, you lose, its over.

Eeh! The santa fe is DEAD! and NEVER will come back as long as their is something called BNSF around.

Even IF they DO bring back the warbonnet.

And cookiemae, wow you have some imagination...

Oh yes it will if we force the US Railroad Department to delete BNSF and that will make the ATSF & BN come back!

I was fortunate to watch ATSF trains pass through my back yard in the Los Angeles area, and can remember them as far back as age 5 (1970.)

Many years later, I was fortunate again to work for BNSF in the Southwestern portion of the TransCon that occupies original Atlantic & Pacific (ATSF predecesor) roadbed.

I guess, because it was the first railroad I came to love, ATSF will always be my favorite.

More of a fan of the D&GRW but the ATSF is better then BNSF. I see some Santa fe equipment, and seen a santa fe unit in pennsylvania a few years ago
it was still a light red, not pink but light red. I am actually a MAJOR FAN OF PENNSY, because they never came in contact :P But i do like the ASTF, and my friend likes Northern,
