I’m creating a Google Doc that explains how to properly set up signals, TRC crossings, and ATLS crossings in Trainz. The document will be updated over time and will include the correct number assignments you should use for your TRC crossings. When all crossings share the same number, they activate together, so I’ll provide a numbering system that prevents that problem.
The guide is designed for new Trainz22 users who want realistic, real‑world signal behavior. It will include written instructions, diagrams, and tutorial videos from existing creators. My goal is to teach how to setup realistic signal operations step‑by‑step, the same way they function on real railroads.
Once the tutorial document is finished, I’ll send it out to everyone and share it here as long as the staff is okay with it.
