A1 driver misbehaving

patchy

mango madness
hi,
most of the time my A1's behave themselves
currently i'm doing a 66km branch line with one crossing loop
the A1 will go to the trackmark on the crossing side
but won't recognize the trackmark on the main side
the loop is signalled correctly it baffles me because they wiil drive to all other trackmarks
any ideas would be greatful

cheers,
patchy

Is the track/pointwork on the main usable, can you manually drive along the main?
Any track direction markers?
Are you giving the commands seperately or as part of a schedule.
Do you get a message when you give drive via main t/mark?

the track is drivable manually
in the testing mode so i'm just asking drive to
i put a trackmark beyond loop and train drove to it
it won't recognize the trackmark on the main even tried renaming it
don't get any message on driver status bar

cheers,

There was an issue in earlier versions that the AI would not "see" the next signal or crossing loop beyond a certain distance. I think it was around 12 miles maximum - I had this problem on my Fort William to Mallaig route.

T/mark beyond the loop. They will drive to that via the main?
How about removing and replacing t/mark.
In reality you only need 1 consist to drive to t/mark (in the loop), if you place a trigger on the main this will then set the loop consist on its way when triggered.
