2006 and Downloads?.From a old timer

Ok been around Trainz from it's birth..I have ALL the versions starting from trainz,utc,04-06...starting back in 2001..So I know my way around Trainz,,real good..but this one baffels me..I Got a new system..I have A XPS 730 8GB of RAM over 600 GB of free space on the HD. Intel Core (TM2) Quad CPU @ 2.83 GHz. NVIDA GeForce GTX 280.. Im running Vista Home Premium 64 bit... OH and TRS2006 with SP1..
Heres the problem....
When I DL into CM I have the items commited at that time, When you look at the icon It shows that the item is in the game and commited..BUT when I go into the game the item is not there..BUT, when I go back into CM it shows that the item was not downloaded...The items are not beening saved....????
Also getting Unable to regester Trainz URL registry key...??
I have reloaded 06 two times now the second time I turned of all my fire walls ect..still no good
ANY HELP WOULD BE NICE..how about it....

Have you installed TRS06 into the default location?

If you have you will need to give it Access Permision for it to save content in the Programs directory.

Yes..I let it install in the defalt location..

You need to navigate to the folder it is installed to and right click on the .exe files and select properties.

In the dialog box that appears you need to select 'Run as Administrator' and then ok.

You will need to do this for content manager also, not sure of the .exe file name though.
