How do i create realistic turnouts like this image? note: the joints have some sort of guide
Is this a track object that is added to the track, if so what is it called?

Is it better to use tree splines or a bunch of tree objects for performance.
I was thinking about replacing all my tree splines with tightly packed tree objects for a more natural look.
I got a 50% voucher so I bought Settle and Carlisle.
During the install, it asks whether to install as stand alone or addon, I select addon however it installs as a stand alone TS2009 anyways.
Is there another way to install or import this layout for TS2010?
I'm building a proto-typical layout (North America), I'm just wondering if there are any guides on setting track speed limits?
e.g. In a car, most highways are 60mph/100kph - Is there an industry standard yard limit or main line limit?
Also what would a typical maximum incline or downhill...
I just ran a steam loco for 20 min with no water? I would have expected something to happen like a loss in boiler pressure or something.
I also tried running at 100% water, couldn't tell the difference.
Are the steam engine physics modeled in the game?
trainz2010 SP3
I just purchased and installed tz2010 with SP3
The first time I ever launched tz2010 and there are no trains or routes??
-- update
I just re-installed, tz2010 works until I install 41615_to_43434.exe
I read a DLC requires that tz2010 be patched to SP3
However I cannot find any service packs for 2010, there is a servicepack for 2009. Should I use the servicepack for 2009?
First Layout (High poly) Updated for TS2010
This is my first attempt at a layout. It's based on a model train I had growing up. It's highly detailed high poly count non-prototypical layout.
(image server is a bit flaky)
Update: I've updated the route for TS2010 (uses a combination of DLS...
I've noticed when the AI drops off a load of rolling stock in a siding, it leaves them as close as possible to the switch.
is there a trick to getting the AI to go to the end of the track?
I have an inactive piece of rolling stock parked close to a crossing. This causes the lights and boom to be always active.
Is there a trick to having the crossing ignore that piece of rolling stock?
I've tried hidden signals and junctions but no luck.
I'm looking for track crossing for this road asset "Lane with Sidewalk". There is one that works called "UK Automatic Half Barrier level crossing", however I can't find a US version.
Non-level crossings cause a gap between the road and crossing.
The sidewalk hides the track on most level...
When ever I load a route that has missing content, I get that screen asking me if I want to load the layout anyway, or go to the dls, etc...
...but it's in French. i can't seem to figure out why. I could not find any language setting in the options.
