Steam engine physics

I just ran a steam loco for 20 min with no water? I would have expected something to happen like a loss in boiler pressure or something.

I also tried running at 100% water, couldn't tell the difference.

Are the steam engine physics modeled in the game?

Somewhat and no, depending on what you're running. TRS2006 and older versions are really bad in TS2009 and TS2010 because of the enginespec changes. There are some better, alternative enginespecs available for some locos. Post a kuid or 2 and we'll check.

I was using the Blue Comet DLC pack which i thought was made exclusively for tz2010. Are there any steam engines on the DLS that mirror the effects?

If boiler pressure gets too low you can barely move...Happens to me, especially if I leave locos just sitting around lol
