Hope this can count as Hawaii Wasnt a state in WWII but here's Oahu Railway 2-8-2 #60 crossing a small gravel road crossing while heading up the North Shore on my work in progress Oahu Railway & Land Co. route.

Black and white slide from the mid 1930's of Oahu Railway #60 with the weekly pay train posing for a photo on the newly built Waimea Bay curved trestle which spans the aptly named Waimea River. The bridge is still in use today as a pedestrian walk way.
