Good day everyone.

Sorry for the delay. We had huge floods in the Czech Republic the last few days.
Some pictures of my progress on the map as promised.

During the map test I took many screenshots. I show here only the most important part and the rest of my photos can be found on my Photobucket account: http://s609.photobucket.com/user/MiyuGreer/library/TS2009 Japan map?sort=3&page=1

warning: awful looking light green grass is being replaced by darker.:)

These days I create several railway buildings and accessories. They do not represent any real buildings but they are in Japanese style. Soon there will be on the map.

One more important information:
I soon begin to place power lines above the tracks.:D

I hope you like the map.

Thank you for the very nice new rails, matura. They truly complete the modern feel of the old route with their concrete ties.

Hirochi: is that a bullet train or a subway train?
Matura: great shots!! I really like the station. will your stuff be at the download station? Also is there a narrow gauge version of the japan level crossings? I have the standard gauge versions also thanks for the link to the track pack. With it, I was finally able to find that accursed missing bridge section in the kiha layout!!

Tycoonkid: looking good so far. the new tracks are really cool!!

Please, call me Streamline. c: Thank you. Replacing the old tracks has been tedious. Your route is looking very nice as well. Looks like every time you post screenshots there's something new. How big would you say your route is?

I'm not going to save it on download station. It's a lot of files. But I'd rather do pack of the dependencies and structures and that pack I will store on the web.
I will show new works soon. Especially the new tracks that I tested yesterday. I probably will put these tracks on the DLS soon.

Nice work with your maps and trains. Colleagues.

Good day everyone! It's been a while.

Keimei-san: I'm sorry to hear that N3V is tagging your content. Hopefully they work with you on a solution.

Hirochi-san: The Kintetsu train looks very nice.

Railshuttle: I have a set of crossing components available on the DLS. Only problem is they are TS09+ only. They also require boat's ATLS system.

Matura: Those tracks you've made look very nice indeed.

Cheers everyone! :)

There are some really really nice tracks in that set. I'm trying to decide which one's I like best before I go and add more to the Odawara line. I like the fourth track in the second set very much. Which are your favorites, everyone?

well my original layout for t2006 was about 100 miles with two 20 mile "island" branch mainlines. the central line was the 100 mile one which I ran the bullet trains on
and the two "island" branch main line were going to be about 50 to 60 miles.
its hard to start over remaking routes though. but I'll give it a shot.
trainman: I believe I have those already. they are in the kiha line. was wondering would you consider making a whole animated 42 inch NG crossing like the japan level crossings of the standard gauge someday.
favorite tracks from the photos? well they're all good I like the first one in the third pic and all the ones in the first pic.

Wow. About time some Trainz users came from their hiatus. Nice show, hirochi! Hope you can work on the interior.

Apparently, with a LOT of Japan trains (from both keimei & hirochi), It might need an enginesound and a hornsound too! That's somthing I can work with. I found on YouTube that have audio-only engine sounds of the JPN sets. Now, they may be NOT be the right train, but it's enginesound could fit in some of them. It may be for a couple of days, because I'm working up with my friends at DeviantArt.

Railshuttle: They are designed to be modular. The gates and lights are separate assets that don't connect to the road, so you can place them however you like, which is very useful for complicated crossings. It makes it so that you only need a few 'useable anywhere' objects instead of hundreds of 'situation specific' objects. The controlling of traffic and the lights themselves is done with boat's ATLS Controller, Slave, Traffic Stopper, and Triggers. I also have made asphalt and wooden crossing boards in both 42in and standard gauge to match rossolabo's roads.

These crossings are more complicated to use than kenichiro's, but are more realistic in operation and more versatile.
Since you have the Kiha route, take a look at how Keimei-san has set them up and you should get the gist of how they work.

Cheers!:)

I am delighted to start having more movement in this thread.
still not be able to enjoy all the creations, at least I can marvel at your pics.
Keep it up guys
