Upon a general request from one of our American trainzers, I think a few pics of our newest Trainz version is only right and proper.....

So, for Sethmcs and anyone else who wishes to view what is on offer, I've included a few shots to illustrate the rolling stock, locomotives and general countryside views to be found, superbly created by the TC3 team....

Please feel free to add anything appropriate to enlighten others.

Thank you ex-railwayman....

Thank you ex-railwayman for posting these shots. What industry is that in the first picture? A salt mine maybe?

You're very welcome young man.....The industry is a Limestone Quarry, there are a couple of these in the area, but as I only got my game yesterday, I haven't explored all the routes yet, so cannot tell you exactly what is on offer.
The area is sparse moorland at times as it is a high-up place in English terms, so there's not much industry at times, the line was used for a few local passenger trains every day, inter-city express passenger trains, and long-haul freight traffic over the border into Scotland, mainly at night.....

Can you take some screens of Carlisle and Skipton? Would this route be good to modify for a modern WCML to add catenary, modern towers, etc?

Nice shots ex-r! Heres Evening Star tearing through the suspiciously well filled platforms of Armathwaite station.I went there on a Dales Rail train in 1978 and I was the only person to get off..:(...The route is a joy to drive trains on..

Ah...tranquility!

These cows are happy they make milk, and aren't being loaded into the "head ripper" cars!:D

I really like these country lanes!

I can almost smell the grass!

If it seems like the route goes on forever, it's because it does!

Scenic views really set the mood for this route. It's a shame about all the rain!

Heres a shot of the south end of Carlisle with a Class 40 and 2 Metrovick Co-Bos.It would be pointless trying to wire the station since the track layout and signalling was radically altered when the catenary was erected, and the wires only extend to Bog Junction on the S & C.Unless, of course , you had the WCML to Merge with this...

Some great shotz Gentlemen, I love your 3rd pic Euphod, that really sums up the area, I'll have to book another holiday to Yorkshire now, very nostalgic........:hehe:

Have done some general overview shots for you Isaac of Carlisle and Skipton stations and surrounding railyards, etc, the first 4 pics are from the Carlisle area.

I must admit that at the end of the day, you duly get your money's worth with this version. Even after a few teething problems certain people have had with the installation, to get such a bargain to keep for the next 5/10 years is unbelievable.

Keep your shotz coming folks.......

Those shots really show off the intricate trackwork the UK team pulled off and I'm glad it wasn't MY job!

Thanks Mike, I only got my game yesterday, so I haven't had chance to do any nightmode viewing just yet. I hope you're going to use eco-friendly lightbulbs as per the Government's instructions to all of us........:hehe:

I'm yet to get it but...

It comes with the route shown in the above pic (VERY long and well detailed, if the pics above, and maps of reality are anything to go off).

As for locos and RS, well it's all UK. But certainly looks great in the pics!

It's not just 'a couple things of UK content'. The UK guys have made a LOT of content to go with this. And for $40 AU (approx) it's a damn good price in my opinion... Will have to convince my parent to buy it for me :p
