Wow! Really folks, I don't think we are supposed to post real train photos - just ones from trainz :)

Some really awesome shots all around. Very impressive.

Cheers

A quintet of La Salle, Rockford & Central Railway GP38-2's roar up the countryside in notch 8 with 6700's tons of freight in tow as they get ready to clatter through Granville Illinois, on their way to Rockford and the Class 1 interchange some 65 miles away. That old jointed rail will sure have the crew rocken and rollen for the afternoon ahead.

I haven't posted in a while, but every time I look at what's new in this thread, I'm always amazed by all these creations, :). Awesome works, everyone!

Here are some screenshots from a non-fictional route I've been working on. Progress has been slower than I thought, so I decided that once this scene was finally around even 90% complete, then [maybe] I'll finally post some pictures of it,.

For those who are familiar with the CSX/ex-B&O trackage just southwest of the Baltimore, Maryland area, you might be able to guess the location of this scene.
Given the kinds of trains shown, I tried to portray this scene as if the pictures were taken circa 2012.

I also tried to model the Wheeling and Lake Erie coke/coal trains that also ran through here via trackage rights on the Old Main Line Subdivision, I believe up until around 2013, but I might be wrong about some of the details on that.
