To post an image, go to the advanced reply thing, and click "Insert Image". (The picture of mountains.) Then enter the URL, after the 'http://', or the file directory on your harddrive, for example: X/Documents and Settings/YourName/My Documents/My Pictures/

Ah you mean 12 wheeler bogie trucks! Understand.

The new AE and BE VR cars on the DLS have them but there are several others as well. Let me have a hunt through TO and I'll post some kuids for you...

Cheers

These are the bogie kuids I found in my collection. Be aware that most of them come from passenger coaches not freight wagons, and the majority of them are non-rotating (refer to my thread Bogie wheels that rotate):

kuid:81997:50001 this is a lovely animated bogie from the VR AE and BE carriages.

kuid:58843:50011 this is a non-animated bogie.

kuid:46219:50060 is from the GWR crocodile wagon. I can't remember if it's animated.

kuid:58422:50114 this is built-in and comes from the Pullman 12s-1d-1smk carriage.

kuid:58843:50011 is from the PRR P70 carriage.

kuid2:63971:50664:1 this is another lovely animated bogie from the NSWGR 12 wheeler carriages.

kuid:86105:50059 this is an animated bogie from the Santa Fe depressed flatcar.

kuid:76096:50030 a nice animated bogie from the Rio Grande carriages.

If you're really desperate you could always play around with the bogies from the VR H220 tender: kuid:193148:1153 or kuid2:63971:50220:1

Have fun but if you're modifying an existing vehicle remember to make a note somewhere of the original bogie!

hi
hopefully this will work

i am after road trucks
they do not need to be a driveable vehicle as i would use them in static places anyway

here are two examples

anybody know of any?

maybe the smaller ones could have the extra wheelset added to them

thanks

i may use them to convert some of the european carriabes that have white bogies.

two sudjestions.

1st) trythumbing thru Alien3's content he has alot of trucks and stuff they are sometimes labled differently then what I would look under.

2nd) what most people here will/would say: Why not try to make your own. GMAX is a free program (google should find you a version). there are plenty of tutorials to get you started if you need it (check out World of Trainz, alot of people uses his)

peter

PS... Ooh jsut had a thought check under "Vulcan" also he has some crains that might be what your looking for.

Vulcan hosts most things on the DLS so if you can't pick up from the DLS you have a problem.

If you are registered you can use the ftp method to pull items from the DLS even if you don't have Trainz installed.

hi john

of course i am registered
i would not be on the 2006 forum otherwise

i am just having huge amounts of dramas getting to the dls.

my ftp works with everything else bar for this

as usual i do not know enough to figure this problem out

i will just keep persevering

thanks and a happy new year

steven

I think what I was trying to say is Auran DLS knows if you are registered. You do not have to be on the system that has Trainz installed. Logon, go to the DLS and select the item.

Having done that select the green button that says download page.

Then select

  • Download file via direct FTP link
and it should download the item. I assume windows and IE or firefox.
