Hey ladies and gentlemen I am wondering how do you take pictures in Trainz I am seriously clueless can anyone help me out please my head hurts everytime I try to figure that out @_@

On the keyboard there is a button, "Print Screen". Pressing it takes a snapshot and sends it to a file called "Screenshots".

File location is usually at :C/Program Files/Auran/trs2006/Screenshots

Errrrrr Greg, all the pics in my Screenshots folder are tga files which Windows won't open, where does one go from here please ??

Here download this its called Irfanview.

Now it will open the files.

It will also convert and save to JPG compressed files, which are much smaller in filesize if you want to save space.

You can also use a program called DXTBMP that you can get here http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/programs/dxtbmp.htm. (download link is at the bottom of the page). It also allows you to edit .tga files in your favorite image editor (including MS paint).

It's also excellent for creating and editing Alpha masks for transparent textures.
