Need some help with nationalmap.gov downloads

Hello all! I'm really enjoying Trainz and have been wanting to try out route building for a while and could use some help with something. I have TransDem installed and "mostly" know how to use it, but I'm trying to figure out how to actually download files from https://apps.nationalmap.gov/downloader/ that can be loaded into TransDem for conversion to Trainz.

If you mean to download DEM 'Digital Elevation Models' to use in TransDEM you can download these free from here in hgt format

I'll give that a try! Should be easy to cut the map files down and stitch them together the way I want in TransDem.
