rotating textures

I have forgotton the key function to make the texture rotate continusley as you are applying the texture. I used to do it all the time . Does anyone know what the key to use is.?

Hold [ or ] keys. That'll do the trick.

And it works really good too, once you put it to habit first, that's what took me time was to remember to do 2 things at once ....LOL

But the effects, wow, it made a big difference with Textures that show reoccurring patterns as you draw large areas.

Don't forget to vary the size of the texture too, that can be surprisingly effective at avoiding a uniform appearance, even just using the same texture.

Is it true that smudged (rotated) textures effects framerates more ?
