TrainzDiag troubleshooter
New Member Registrations
In the past eight months there have been a lot of occasions where new members have tried to register for the forum and have been inputting a username or a kuid number that is unknown or has been made up.
For example most of the applications have had a three digit kuid number
The three digit numbers came out in 2014, now days you have at least a 5 or 6 digit number
Warning we checked all kuid numbers and user names and if we find that they dont match up or the kuid number is unknown and has been made up then that member will be removed from the newly registered members and will be refused membership of TPR.
All persons wishing to join TPR must have a genuine kuid number and username and must be registered with Auran no exceptions

By "kuid number", do you mean "user ID" (the number assigned to each Trainz user that makes up the first half of a kuid number)?

Whilst I can understand on the username side, I have a feeling that some users (particularly newer ones) may not know their User IDs particularly as newer ones have a variation between what appears on the forum and what appears in Content Manager/MyTrainz.

The member's User ID number can be found on the DEV tab of the TANE Launcher window. In TS12 one way to find the number is to open Content Manager and select the My Content tab

I've tried my bookmark and it is broken, i.e.

My guess is that the funds have dried up and the site is no longer able to be sustained. It was due to expire last year on 28 Nov (see this thread) but a last minute donation flurry saw it stay alive for this year. It will be a shame to see all those items lost to those who relied on it for the older versions of Trainz. Not sure if any new donations would help, although not too sure where they should be sent.

Well this is troubling! I note that robin_hoods hasn't posted since August but he did visit the forum today.
